RZA is very good, but GZA is top 10 material, something RZA is not in my honest opinion (not taking anything away from RZA though :) )

United they're at their best but...

I it goes for rappin it's obviously GZA for me he's in my top 5 but when I'm also regarding producing it's almost too hard but I might take GZA just from personal preference... I just love his style

GZA, I love RZA's producing but as a rapper GZA is 'much' better...

As a rapper....the GZA, easily. That should be a no brainer....

Without the RZA .. No GZA ..
Without the RZA .. No Beats ..
Without the RZA .. No Wu-Tang Clan ..

RZA IS THE MASTERMIND BEHIND THE WHOLE OF THE CLAN AND WITHOUT HIM THEY WOULDNT BE SHIT !

"The GZA the genius is just a genius he's the backbone of the whole joint""He the head let's put it that way we form like voltron and GZA happened to be the head"

So I guess GZA is almost as important for the Wu as RZA is didn't he like taught half the clan how to rhyme?

"teach" is the word you're looking for there.

I seriously doubt RZA taught them how to rhyme although I think because Mast Killa was so young he was kind of like his protégé.

Maybe I'm wrong

Yes, I heard Masta Killa had virtually no rap experience. Then the GZA mentored him.

Notice on Chessboxin' it sounds like he's trying really hard to be as hype as the rest of the clan. He was still finding his style then, cause you never hear him that hype again.

I voted RZA cause i basically like his style and presence better, im not a huge rza guy but i listen to him more than i do gza, whose old skool style doesnt really work for me.

im sure most of you have heard that old freestyle where methodman shreds it for like 5 minutes, then ghostface drops a nasty verse, then gza gets on the mic and its like a time warp back to like the 80's, his rhymes just sounded so simple and outdatd compared to meth and t starks

I don't really like the RZA as a rapper to be honest, he's good lyrically but his flow is way off sometimes.

Wu Gambino

GZA has always been my favorite member of Wu. RZA is the mastermind but GZA is amazing. The Grandmasters album with Muggs was classic Wu. 8 Diagrams can't come soon enough.

MC vs. Producer

Ill take the MC

RZa is too hit and miss, some tracks he is amazing then others he is dreadful
Where as GZA is constantly good imo.

So on the mic I have to go wit GZA, but overall all it gets tricky.

RZA is definetly more important than the GZA overall

Gold.

RZA is good but in terms of solo albums he hasn't been consistent enough, especially with birth of a prince, which was, by the wu's standards, terrible. GZA dropped liquid swords which was a straight up and down classic, so that's where my vote goes

no contest Gza wins hands down as an mc , but the rza is one of the top 5 producers ever...
