K-Rino is a dope lyracist, I've only bought Book Number 7 and had BRIEFLY listened to some of his prior shit..... K-Rino I find more appealing than Canibus as of late, but he is not a better lyracist than Canibus, no way. This would make a good poll though.

Ya K-Rino one of the best in the game bet you if he was from New York his buzz would be alot better than what it is now.

The same can be said about Canibus since he isn't from New York either, besides, it's The South that has all the buzz... K-Rino has a lot less buz cause he can actually rhyme and is a good representative of the art. Instead, wack shit like Jeezy sells - go figure - same debate over and over and over again.

Why isn't K-Rino big, after dropping I don't know how many albums...

But everybody knows who Papoose and Saigon are, and they've yet to drop anything serious.

Papoose made his debute on an album 9 years ago, he FINALLY got some acclaim. Dude was underground for who knows how many years before that. So it isn't like the dude just popped on the scene yesterday and today there is all this hype. Saigon, I can't talk about 'cause I don't know shit about him and I honestly don't even like his shit that much I don't know why.

No, but whether he dropped an album that only underground cats heard or dropped mix-tapes that only underground cats heard, what's the difference? My point is Papoose didn't jump into the spotlight over night just because he is from NY.

The real reason why there is no buzz about K-Rino outside of the underground is because people have horrible taste and are retarded. That's all.

I feel what you're saying and wasn't trying to discredit you, I was just asking...

I personally think him being from the East has something to do with it. The stereo-typical MC from NYC is the punch-line type cat... which Pap is. So, naturally people that listen to "punchline" type shit are looking there... not the South. So if somebody tells one of these heads that's all into Big L and Rakim that there's a dope MC from the South, the MC gets dismissed as if the head already knows what it's gonna sound like.

I understand what you're saying and I guess I can't completely dismiss it.
