Just wanted to make this point known.. for at least the past 3 years now, something bad has happened to the cover boy of the madden football video game... The players season has been affected everytime... Here's my point

Madden 2002 - Daunte Culpepper - Culpepper had the worst season of his career the year he was named as cover boy for madden, seemed like he couldnt do anything right.

Madden 2003 - Marshall Faulk - Faulk was hampered most of last season with injuries, the year that he covered for Madden. Also affected his season greatly

Madden 2004 - Michael Vick - Still in the preseason, but in last night's Falcons game, Mike Vick suffered a broken fibula, he'll miss at least the first four weeks of the season. He could still have a phenomenal season, but still hampered by injury in the early going.

Do ya'll think that this is just a strange coincidence or is bein cover boy for the Madden series actually a curse?

o shit. ur right. lol. i think its the curse that the fat ass john madden himself has put on the players. if they dont do badly or get hurt madden is gonna eat them. so they always make sure they get hurt. good point tho. i think its the curse of the fat ass

Madden 2001 - Eddie George - Comin off a 1500 yard 2000 season, George was also hurt when he was cover boy for madden and failed to reach 1000 rush yards for the 2001 season.
