..I never liked it in its infancy but as time progressed and more Floridians/ATLiens forced me to listen to it, I started appreciating it as its own sub-division of Hip-Hop music. I guess it's real popular because of how easy it is to mass-produce these types of traccs. Those who do it and those who do it well exist on two different planes..

Bone Crusher's Never Scared was my favorite of the ones mentioned. T.I. dropped a very charismatic verse and the beat is hard.

I think I've finally found out why I hate this new generation of southern club music. Snap stemmed from Crunk, but the heavy bass line of crunk has been replaced with actual finger-snapping. And the 'get-you-ready-to-fight-a-nigga' lyrics have been replaced by instructional dance moves.

Snap doesn't throw any emphasis on the bass, maybe I'd be able to tolerate it slightly more if it did.
