I hear people talk bout their favorite beats and how they hate sampled shit. So what would you say your favorite unsampled beat is...

To tell you the truth I dont even know what songs have a sample and what dont anymore. So Im pretty sure DJ Premier didnt use any samples for "Nas is Like"....besides Nas' own voice. So Ill say that.

if im wrong, please tell.

Um..who says they are a hip hop fan and 'hates samples shit'. Tell them to shampoo your cock. A good 95% of any instrumental sound you've heard from about 2003 all the way back to when herc started fucking with breaks contains some sort of sample one way or the other.

And 'Nas is like' does contain a sample. The drums as well as the melody. I've only heard a few DJ Premier instros in my lifetime that werent laced with a sample...you juss gotta dig for it...

But as far as my favorite unsampled beat I don't have too too many but I'd prolly have to with "Hell NO" from Maino produced by Scott Storch right now...shit is flames...

Ok ok ok....have you ever taken a music course before? Have you ever used the program to its fullest potential? Do you know what the C scale is? What about the b flat scale? How about the difference between a harmony and a chord? Or what about this; can you name any instrument besides brass, percussion, and orchestra related?

^ "Window Shopper" is a sample of Bob Marley's "Burnin' & Lootin'". Not sure about the others.

Anyways, "keyboard beats are wack not because they're from a keyboard, it's because ya'll can't play keyboards". Nuff said.

Of course they're good, and of course everyone's entitled to their opinion.

So i'll just say fuck you and your opinion right now to get it out of the way.

In D^Coy's perfect world, we would reward the most talented by buying only their music and boycotting anyone who doesn't know the difference between a harmony and a chord.

Despite, may I add, the fact that Artist X is way fucking better than, oh I don't know, Chopin.

aight this is my fav beat of all time and hopefully it's not sampled......
The Clipse feat Jadakiss, Styles P, & Rosco P Coldchain-"I'm not you".

honorable mention is Isyss feat Jadakiss-"Day & Night"

That Clipse beat is incredible I agree. I reckon it's all original instruments too.

The hell are you talking about? If you've read some of my other post in a different thread, i said I listen to their music. I just don't give a damn about the production because it's not MY type of talent.

And i was only narking on dude because he decided to get on me because I use FL Studio.
