Ok, i got HALO 3 on friday and its great. ALL types of new weapons are avialible in battle mode, the online co op is fun ass hell. I really didnt think it would be tht fn to go through the story mode with some one else but it is actually fun. I feel sorry for those of you that still dont realize that 360 is awesome. Sucks for people with a PS3.

And THe new maps in the battle mode are great. THey also keep the better one from HALO2 but modefied them slightly.

In my opinion, 360 games aren't meant to be played by yourself. I doubt I'll ever play the campaign mission unless it's with co-op. I find playing against a computer the most boring shit ever. :(

You may not think this is the case, however I think it could well be because, consoles cost about £140, the game cost £45 (in British money). The game cost 1/3 of the consoles value therefore it is considered cheap compared to all games.

If this is true, momentum will be with 360 for the next year, or at least until GTA comes out. In my opinion, the only real enemy is GTA and that's if it's spectacularly better than the 360 version.

That's just the way I think, it could be wrong, I could be correct, only time will tell. When future business is concern my predictions aren't that far away from the mark. At the end of the day, the console market is no longer catering just for the gamer. It's aiming stuff at people like me, who just wanna have fun and really don't give a fuck at what the latency of the memory is, lol. A well marketed product will outperform against specification. Rumor has it (which is most likely true) is that there's going to be another PS3 price cut just in time for the holidays, which was the same thing microsoft, nintendo, and sony did last year on black friday.

And you've got to remember: microsoft didn't actually "gain" anything, considering the extended 3 year warranty cost them $1.15 billion this year to fix the problems, hence them most likely going to drop the prices of the white models to weed out the issue (sorta like how the core model became extinct). They've also lost a lot of money thanks to Vista, lol. So basically, the more 360s are sold, the more problems (money, rrod, issues, upgrades, etc) microsoft has to deal with. And the only way to fix these problems is to pour even more money into exclusives, thus losing even more money! See how it works?

However, if you wanna look at Sony's margins then just look at their accounts, LOL. Microsoft have/will break-even for the 360 research & development costs this year. I expect that the PS3 cost more money to develop so there's a still a lot time until that happens. So in cost, MS are beating Sony in this department.

Just played Halo3 yesterday at my friends house, we played a little 4 player local versus and a bit of co-op campaign. The game is great no doubt, just not my style as far as versus goes. The campaign, from what I played, is great, but I could never really get into the combat against Humans in Halo. Too much jumping and combos like BXR and Plasma etc. I prefer a regular shooter like Battlefield or Rainbow 6, but I will say that Halo 3 is still amazing. Especially with that map editor and all.

I played multiplayer round my mate's house a few days back and I was highly impressed.

I am definitely buying this soon!

I would have personally thought that the Wii and the DS have the worse support. Every game seems to be made by Nintendo.

It was good but not as great as it was hyped to be. Matchmaking seems worse then it was in Halo 2. Either way I'm still playing it.
