Damn...this is soo awesome. My cousin ryan played football throughout college and then went on to play in the european football league for berlin...He is now trying out for the jets and having a sweeet preseason. The cool thing is that my family lives in new jersey and he, along with his family and a bunch of my other relatives, lives in west virginia. His dad and mom come up like twice a week...a dam long drive and they more family sometimes. Our family used to be like the black sheep cuz of where we live but now everyone always stays with us.

I have gotten to go to training camp twice and get tickets to every game. His first preseason game was decent and so was the second. I couldn't go to any of the first three cuz of my vacation or them bein away. In the third, he had like 6 or 7 unassisted tackles...which was pretty sweet.

I got to go the the jets vs. giants game this saturday. It was awesome. A lot of family came up, along with his fiance. We all sat together and had great seats. he only played in the second half but right away he had two sacks. He also had a few tackles and then forced a fumble. It was sweet. We ate dinner afterward and my family has decided to take the trip up to philly for tomorrow (thursday)s game.

There have been two cuts already and the third and final cut is sometime after the game; probably friday. Guess it comes down to this game.

aight...the developements...

I just got home from philly. It was sweet. Jets won 17-9. My cousin played for like 3/4 of the game and did decent. He had like 3 unassisted tackles and and bunch of assisted ones. He didn't get any sacks but he was about to get one and the qb was literally running away from him....not even fuckin looking to throw...just running. Then he did some bullshit where he just dropped the ball as though to down it but he just dropped it so he got a penalty for illegaly downing the ball or some shit like that...

He was talkin to his agent and it turns out that the jets had never expected this much from him and at this point there is like no way that they can cut him. The only problem is that they picked up a new 5th round draft pick defensive end and they don't want him not to play so it's some sort of dilemna...The worst that can happen is that they put him on the practice squad which is more or less reserves. He was talkin to his agent and also gave an interview after the game to some tv station and both of them commented on the fact that he has had a great preseason and that if worse comes to worse other teams would be eager to pick him up...

That's cool by me but i would rather he stay here...by me.

last cut today...he still isn't cut so he's made it which is sweet....god dam, though, his friend who went to dinner with us, salem simon, got cut...which pisses me off cuz he was so cool
