Some things you would like to see happen with the site?

Give realistic ideas that can happen whether its some changes, leagues, tournies etc etc

Bring them up and i can bring it up with other mods and denz and maybe somethin might happen

so if you have an opinion voice it


and dont be all negative towards someones opinion, if it sounds dumb, shoot it down, but use some tact, this is for everyone here to make the site better

Honestly, everyone says this but I think it should be lightly addressed at least once..Some mods in some of the forums are never around anymore, only once in a blue moon..I'm not saying de-mod all of the inactive mods, that'd be absurd..Maybe a few active mature members could be appointed to some mod spots..

Seems to be, but im only new, that its really hard to set up a battle and have it judged fairly, e.g. 2 votes for me were discounted by Payroll because the people voting didnt like Snale, but then when Snale's friend Senor Guerrera votes for him and calls it 3-0/closes the thread - thats fine.
It may seem like im postiing here to bitch about what happened but I'm not, for future maybe some impartial mods could drop into some battles just to see if everythings OK.

I think the Mod situation needs to be dealt with, too many inactive mods that arent positively contributing to the growth of the site in their absence, at least let some people who have been around a while, know how things go, and who are responsible take their place to keep things running effecient...thats the major issue in my eyes.

One thing that would be cool to see in the future though with the growth of the site, once there is more dominant members and more crews, is for there to be a crew tourney to crown the one dominant crew, have it be based on text battle, topical, gfx, audio, sketch...i would be interested in seeing that happen.

I'll come back when I have more...

I know one of the biggest problems in the HHF is that we get these new kids (most of them pretty young) signing on and making ten shit threads with their first ten posts, pushing all of the decent threads off the first page.

I really think there should be a requirement to start a thread, like a certain rep level or a certain # of posts. This doesn't have to be applicable to the whole site, just the hiphop forum.

The HHF is slowly dying, it is not what it was when I joined the site at the beginning of the year. All the knowledgeable members are leaving or posting less and it is getting swamped with 14 yr. olds that can't spell. Something needs to be done. Just my $.02.

Tommy, Damien...I think there is a reasonable solution to that problem. There should be something along the lines of a 10-15 post minimum before you can start a thread in the HHF or General Discussion. In both of those forums, for newbies, there should be a "Questions & Miscellaneous" thread if they have questions or news regarding anything. That way it's contained to one thread and they can post whatever they had in mind. If a regular member wants to answer their question all they have to do is enter the Q & Misc. thread. This way, there is less garbage in the forums and newcomers won't be chased away so easily!

If you don't already have it you should have suspensions as well as bans, so you can suspend annoying or stupid people for a couple days and if they come back and do it again suspend them again until they learn..

That problem has now been solved. Members will now need over 24 posts to post in either of those forums. That should also solve the commercial spamming in the GD forum.

anyways as for the site i have a few suggestions, so here....

1. Get rid of the useless mods who dont do ANYTHING TO HELP MAKE THIS SITE BETTER.... not to boast, but id be a better mod than them, wtf?
2. we should make a mixtape... either of rws greatest hits, or have a battle mixtape, like.... one track would have both verses, opponent vs opponent on one track, have someone in the middle like ok.... go -insert name here- and make it sound like a real street mixtape/battle.
audio tourney, text tourney, shit do something!
4.... have a crew tourney to prove whos better, in every category, battling text, text topical, audio, audio-topical, gfx, etc..

I would love to see a few new forums sections. Including but not limited to one for Literature, News, Alternative free thought/beliefs, & Science/Higher intellect.

I was actually thinking about making the actual magazine monthly but put out little feature columns every week. So the bulk of it would be monthly but little columns put out here and there to keep it fresh and active.
