"Two things are infinite: the universe and human stupidity; and I'm not sure about the the universe."

I thought it was funny

But some members of this website serve as proof to the quote.

Yes, I'm familiar with that quote.

The universe is expanding, not infinite though, that's why he wasn't so sure.

Supposedly the universe will stop expanding eventually and collapse on itself.

Or something like that.

Did Canibus or Combustion Justin tell you that?

Haha you're just firing out random possibilities. No-ones knows what will happen to the universe because we have only experienced a very small percentage of what we predict to be it's lifetime. We don't know how the universe will continue because we haven't experienced enough of it's lifetime to predict trends. We have three basic predictions (that the universe will continue to expand /that it will stop expanding and resume a regular state of stability/that it will eventually reverse and collapse into itself in a 'Big Crunch' fashion. This is all based off several loose theories about the universe's creation ie the general accepted idea that the 'Big Bang'.

^ Exactly.

The Big-Bang theory is flawed in many ways, just as any other theory regarding the creation of the Universe.

I want to know what comes AFTER the universe. I mean, if it's expanding, it must be in something? What is this something? WHERE ARE WE?

What if our universe was contained in a larger universe? Which itself was contained an even bigger universe than that? And maybe what if the universe after it contains the universe that holds the universe that holds our universe!!!????

What if the universe is a shit piece of sand in someone's pocket?

What if we are an experiment in some professor's lab?

The world shall never know. :(

That actually is a theory called "Multiverse", but it's controversial.

That's the question I pose to everyone. That's also the reason no society, anywhere in the Universe, no matter how advanced...will figure out the exact origin of existence.

Before there was something...there was nothing, right?

Nothing is something.

Where did nothing come from?

Are we expanding into nothing?

Is nothing...white? black?

Black and white are something!

Do they still make Dunkaroos?

Why isn't this cream working?

It's deeper than the human brain can comprehend. Our understanding is based on our 5 senses, but it's deeper than being five senses strong.
