ok ima make this short.....i have this fone (for over a year now) and i just now encountered this problem. i try to touch the screen and theres no response. ive tried everything and nuttin has worked. now rplacing it or taking it in is a last resort, so if anyone can help me with fixing it or any other alternative then i would greatly appreciate it.

It's impossible for us to guess why it doesn't work. It could be anything.

But anyway, my guess is your touch screen is fucked up, and you probably have to get a new one.

Even if you had a new screen, would you be able to replace it yourself?
