....posts thoughts on the album in here....
X-NINE 11-25-2007, 11:27 AM Just found it leaked on some other boards.....Downloadin it rite now....
Captain Planet 11-25-2007, 12:43 PM one word ........................... garbage
i'm massively disappointed after a great album like B.Coming ... which is one of my favorite albums released in the past few years ...
this is easily Beans worst album ... lyrically very poor and the production was garbage ... i couldn't even sit through some of the tracks ...
no replay value at all ....
when i seen the tracklist i was amped for the collab with Styles and the songs with Jay & Face (because they are always good) but the collabs with Styles was average & the one with Jay was fuckin garbage ... only the one with Face delivered (as usual) ... why put Ghostface on a song like 'Pass The Patron' ? i would have rather had those 2 on some story telling shit or introspecti... fuck it ... anything but a club song together ...
seriously i liked about 4 songs
Hustlas, Haze And Highways
Rain (Bridge)
Dear Self
Prayer
2 mics maybe 2.5 if i'm being generous
Beans needs Kanye's production drastically ... Freeway managed to pick good beats even without having Just Blaze or Kanye ... speaking of Freeway ... his album takes a massive steamy shite over this garbage ...
plus Beanie need to stay off the drugs and the purple drink shite and my suspicions is that Beans has always been a bit of a homo thug but he really does have a problem with his own sexuality ... like DMX ...
wack, wack, wack ...
Nickel 11-25-2007, 12:57 PM ^^^damn really...its THAT bad
.ScottishHead 11-25-2007, 01:18 PM Not downloaded it but lookin at the tracklisting is enough to put me off.
R.Kelly
James Blunt
Ozzy Osbourne
No thanks.
Nickel 11-25-2007, 02:33 PM i was dissapointed....mainly because "The B. Coming" was sooo much better than this shit
B-Raff 11-25-2007, 02:55 PM Average album with no replay value... The only tracks I'll end up keeping in my iTunes are Hustlas, Haze, and Highways and Rain (Bridge). I think it's safe to say this is his worst album.
Oblivion 11-25-2007, 03:05 PM i gotta admit i flicked through a few tracks i liked tha name of lol and i liked rain, gutted, you aint ready for me, dear self and another one i forgot.. hated that p diddy song/beat tho lol but so far this is okay for me
however i'm a relative beanie sigel newcomer, so can't compare it to others just yet!
X-NINE 11-25-2007, 03:19 PM DAAAAAAAAAAAAAMN is like that yall???? Im bout to hear this shit for myself rite quik
meehai 11-25-2007, 03:21 PM lol he got James Blunt on his album
.ScottishHead 11-25-2007, 03:29 PM You know when Beanie works with this poofy snob on the right, that he's fell off
http://www.indiewire.com/ipop/JamesBlunt.jpg
Captain Planet 11-25-2007, 06:01 PM lol he got James Blunt on his album
it's just a sample
one of the better songs on this shitty album
X-NINE 11-25-2007, 06:57 PM This is NOT fuckin with 'The B.Coming' at all....Dont get me wrong, I wasnt expecting another B.Coming, but something close to it.....
Got mixed views on this right here.....And CO-SIGN GreenY, Freeway's album has some much better production on his album....Wheres Kanye and Blaze when you need em? I guess he thought he really could do it without Kanye on here.......
B-Raff 11-25-2007, 07:13 PM Wheres Kanye and Blaze when you need em? I guess he thought he really could do it without Kanye on here.......
Do you think that's the real reason they weren't on here? I just figured they were too busy with Saigon's project since they were supposed to be like the only producers on it...
I'll check this out tomorrow, regardless of the opinions of it being shitty
X-NINE 11-26-2007, 04:21 PM 2.5/5
This album was not put together right......Sounds rushed...Freeway took mad time to get his album tight, Beans should've took more time with this, cuz this shit sounds like he wasn't inspired on here and theres no real direction on here....Production fucked up this album, mainly....
This is the worst drop from the Roc this year, easily.....Everyone elses albums Ive been satisfied with, cept this one
Tom.B 11-26-2007, 04:45 PM I haven't really givin it a good listen yet, but Im liking some of the tracks, some not so much.....I do like most of the production though, some of the beats are pretty smooth. Ima try and give it a good listen tonight.
Multiplaxed, 12-16-2007, 02:43 PM I remember this guy dissing pharrell and kanye for being gay and now he does a track with James Blunt.
BUT, i've heard this album all week, played it about 4-5 times. I think its alright actually, its actually quite "philosophical" if you know what hes on about. What I dont get is, on some tracks hes proper on a religious/islam tip and the content could be touching some islamic rappers in terms of quality but then he moves onto purple haze ballin etc shit.
overall an alright album, 3.5/5
