Poetik Justiz 11-26-2007, 12:55 AM somethin tells me this album is gonna bang in the whip
Florida Breeze 11-26-2007, 02:49 AM I've heard a few tracks from this, and I'm excited...it's a damn shame though...
I heard Outkast was going to do a Gangsta Grillz album with Drama, but it turns out it's just a track. Which means, Outkast probably doesn't have a new album coming out in the immediate future...AND...they're not doing a Gangsta Grillz with Drama. Wack.

The Darkman)
man what is la the darkman doing with southern cats? Shit is ass backwards...
Florida Breeze 11-26-2007, 02:54 AM He's Willie's brother, and Willie is signed to Drama's label. LA is the VP.

... La and jeezy on the same album ... fuck...
His choice but still...Normally I see him on some shit i'd be happy to buy it but maybe I'll just d/l tracks with him on them.
Scrilla 11-26-2007, 04:20 AM dope beats, but mostly wack artists
i'lll give it af ew more listens tho.

yup a lot of dope beats, but most the artist on their are whack
~X~
Scrilla 11-27-2007, 07:18 AM This shit is weaker than the DJ Khaled shit mostly because of the artists.
The OutKast track is really dope, but the rest of the album feels weird to me. I love the beats, but most of the shit is forgetable. These types of compilation albums always seem weird to me, but I really like the Cannon production and shit. More Lil' Wayne, Jeezy, T.I., Rick Ross, Buck, Outkast, Freeway, Twista, Devin the Dude, Clipse and Jadakiss. Less of the other artists on there such as Yung Joc and Boosie who are wack as fuck.
Honestly if you took the production from this ablum and put the artists I mentioned above and other southern artists from the DJ Khaled albums and you would have a super southern compilation. Shit has potential to be really nice.
My fave joints are
Art Of Storytelling Pt. 4
Cannon (Remix)
187 and Keep It Gangsta are pretty good too.

That's Gangsta Grillz for ya, lol. Drama is killing the mixtape scene!
Scrilla 11-27-2007, 07:23 AM Yeah, but so far Drama and Khaled haven't been able to make a completely dope album. With all of that talent in the south it is possible to make a nice compilation without a bunch of wack artists and tracks. So like I said more Outkast and less Yung Joc. Then again I guess he was trying to get all his affiliates on here which I can understand.
Florida Breeze 11-27-2007, 04:46 PM That's the problem with the South sometimes, everyone works with each other. Most of the time however, that's a good thing.
Tom.B 11-28-2007, 03:24 PM Not really feeling this album.....I like the 5000 ones track and the art of story telling is alright, other then that I gotta say this joint is pretty wack.....even the beats were soft, and usually thats the only thing that gets me through a lot of southern rap....I only gave it one listen, but thats how I feel at the moment.....and not for nothing, but a lot of these southern rappers are too one dimensional....I know most rappers talk about the same shit over and over, but these dudes take it to another level....
