I was thinking today of people who did different shit like you got rap rock such as the blood hound gang but you also got groups who do shit way out there like Orgy who do electronica and sort of a power rockish sound, sublime does their punk reggae thing...

Do you know any groups that play different shit?

I know of tons. Here's some of the more clear-cut mixed-genre stuff on my iPod:

Beck, Beastie Boys, Beta-Band, Cake, Clash, Deerhoof, Faith No More, The Go! Team, Gorillaz, Guided By Voices, K-Os, Klaxons, Neutral Milk Hotel, Of Montreal, Primus, Radiohead, Rapture, TV On The Radio, Ween...

Also, you could say the Red Hit Chilli peppers album - BloodSugarSexMagic, has a massive Hip-Hop feel to it.

Aye, a lot of their earlier albums did. Keidis only started really singing with their Californication album.
