We're approachin spring training, but its still a little early to go into details as there's still a couple notable Free Agents out there and trade rumors (Santana). Just post divisional predictions and a projected range of wins as i'm curious to see what people think early(and playoffs or a tiny description if you want)
AL East
1.Redsox (I think they'll barely win it, Yanks/Sox is a toss up really though) 95-100 wins
2.Yankees (WC) 95-100 wins (about the same as last year, except more consistent rotation)
3.Blue Jays 85-90 wins (amazing rotation, could prolly scare some teams in the WC race and make a run)
4.Devil Rays 70-75 wins
5.Orioles 60-65 wins
AL Central
1.Tigers 90-95 wins (I loved that Cabrera/Willis trade, makes them instant favorites imo)
2.Indians 85-90 wins (think they'll have a recession this year)
3.White Sox 75-80 wins
4.Twins 75-80 wins (great young pitching, don't think they have enough offense)
5.Royals 65-70 wins
AL West
1.Angels 90-95 wins
2.Mariners 80-85 wins (horrendous rotation but a great bullpen and pretty good lineup should carry them to .500)
3.Rangers 65-70 wins
4.Athletics 60-65 wins (Beane completely dismantled this team, gonna be an ugly rebuilding year)
NL East
1.Mets 90-95 wins (Sanchez comin back should help the pen, all falls on the rotation though, I like Maine a lot when he's on, but him and Perez need more consistency, Pedro is the x factor)
2.Phillies 85-90 wins
3.Braves 85-90 wins
4.Marlins 75-80 wins
5.Nationals 75-80 wins (i think they'll be good in a couple years, lot of young talent)
NL Central
1.Cubs 85-90 wins (about the same as last year)
2.Brewers 85-90 wins (I think they'll be improved, incredibly talented young team wit a playoff race experience under their belt, could win the division)
3.Reds 70-75 wins
4.Cardinals 70-75 wins (I think they have very very little depth)
5.Astros 65-70 wins
6.Pirates 60-65 wins
NL West
1.Padres 85-90 wins (that rotation is gonna be godly if healthy, Peavy/Young/Prior/Maddux is just insane, offense is good enough to get by)
2.Diamondbacks 85-90 wins (WC) (Webb/Haren will be a dominant 1-2 punch, toss up between the offenses)
3.Dodgers 80-85 wins (Torre relies on his veterans wit a mix of youth but just misses getting the Dodgers to the playoffs his 1st year)
4..Rockies 75-80 (I can see them winning the WC again, but I expect some kind of decline more realistically)
5.Giants 65-70 (atrocious team)
