.ScottishHead 02-24-2008, 03:57 PM what's the best Typical Cats album?

Ama-gi 02-24-2008, 04:04 PM yeah this shit is extremely dope ^
.ScottishHead 02-24-2008, 04:05 PM I probably like him just as much as Qwel although Qwel has a larger discography so not sure. Not heard the Denizen Kane solo shit..
Ama-gi 02-24-2008, 04:07 PM is the guy who has the 2nd verse on "One Life" part of the Typical Cats?

Ama-gi 02-24-2008, 04:19 PM Apparently he's part of another group called Outerlimitz and a duo with a guy named Silence that's known as Dirty Digital.
I think Dirty Digital is something more recent.
bogart 02-24-2008, 04:28 PM Jebus, who gave Pharoahe Monch's little brother a mic?
Shift 02-24-2008, 04:36 PM Thanks man I'm gonna give this a listen.
Drastik Da God 02-24-2008, 04:47 PM I probably like him just as much as Qwel although Qwel has a larger discography so not sure. Not heard the Denizen Kane solo shit..
I haven't heard any of thoseTree City Legends cds he's put out, but I've heard the group LPs he's on.
Although it sounds racist as fuck I sometimes just can't listen to Asian emcees. Denizen is probably one of the few (there are a handful) I can fully admit to enjoying. I got I Was Born With Two Tongues when he was in Broken Speak right before he got with Typical Cats.
I saw him on Def Poetry once and he presented some pretty raw shit.
TonySt4rk 02-24-2008, 05:13 PM Def Jam poetry is great, they need to bring that shit back. I really liked when Black Ice did his thing on it, dude has real raw aggressive shit.

did you see Dave Chappelle's written-in-10 poem?
B-Rock 02-24-2008, 07:26 PM Just d/l this today and just started listening. This guy sounds a lot like Pharoahe, so far so good. I'm only on 'Chicago' which is a dope song. I'll post up more thoughts when I finish.
Ama-gi 02-25-2008, 06:39 PM uppin
It was a pretty good album, I liked the 2nd half of it better than the 1st, got stronger as it went along.
And as Atome made reference to earlier, I agree that his voice sounds vaguely similar to Pharoahe Monch.

I already said he sounded like monch in the first post.
