So it's the same song that leaked a while ago only with a better beat. lmao at those clowns in the crowd nodding their heads. Crackavelli 02-24-2008, 01:39 PM its ight sounds like a song that'll get overplayed Captain Planet 02-24-2008, 01:40 PM before i stop what i'm listening to, is this that one with "Esco Lets Go" through it ? Killuminati96 02-24-2008, 01:42 PM Pretty dope song. Crackavelli 02-24-2008, 01:42 PM before i stop what i'm listening to, is this that one with "Esco Lets Go" through it ? yep just with a new beat lol.. Captain Planet 02-24-2008, 01:44 PM ah right, that "Esco lets go" part needs removed i'll be surprised if this is on the album though probably will serve as a pre album song like 'Where Yall At' & 'The N' that illseed of allhiphop rumppurs seems like a poof they way i read his stuff it seems like he sits at the bottom of his bed laying flat on his belly typing on his laptop while speaking on the phone in some poofy camp american teenage girl style way Crackavelli 02-24-2008, 01:53 PM haha i dont have much faith in nigger you? Dan99 02-24-2008, 01:54 PM ah right, that "Esco lets go" part needs removed i'll be surprised if this is on the album though probably will serve as a pre album song like 'Where Yall At' & 'The N' that illseed of allhiphop rumppurs seems like a poof they way i read his stuff it seems like he sits at the bottom of his bed laying flat on his belly typing on his laptop while speaking on the phone in some poofy camp american teenage girl style way yeah, everything is fine except the hook Captain Planet 02-24-2008, 01:59 PM haha i dont have much faith in nigger you? the Nas stan in me wants to say it'll be good but i'm split right now depends, with the producers he's workin with it'll be hit or miss he's workin with most of the people who did beats on American Gangster like Sean C & LV, No I.D., DJ Toomp and i liked most beats on there so i'm leaning more to the good side ... i think DJ Toomp is capable of making another type of Made You Look type song with him i'll just have to wait and see Crackavelli 02-24-2008, 02:00 PM when is it dropping anyway? i hear mad shit about it like def jam doesnt want to release it, they want him to the change the name etc.... Killuminati96 02-24-2008, 02:04 PM I heard it might be out in April. Crackavelli 02-24-2008, 02:05 PM damn...february then april..lol Killuminati96 02-24-2008, 02:14 PM LOL i know. Dan99 02-24-2008, 02:17 PM Dropping on April 22, 2008 B-Raff 02-24-2008, 03:10 PM I'm guessing he'll have to drop this album on an indie label, because I can't see Universal Music Group allowing Def Jam to distribute an album called 'Nigger'. Crackavelli 02-24-2008, 04:42 PM ^^ lol yeah that'll probably be the case Dan99 02-24-2008, 06:35 PM I have high expectation for this album, so I'm surprise that you don't B-Rock 02-24-2008, 07:20 PM Eh its ok, lmao @ all those people nodding there heads... CronicGreen 02-24-2008, 07:25 PM Nas is pretty cold artist all around Dan99 02-24-2008, 07:34 PM tight ass beat though Jayant 02-24-2008, 07:39 PM the Nas stan in me wants to say it'll be good but i'm split right now depends, with the producers he's workin with it'll be hit or miss he's workin with most of the people who did beats on American Gangster like Sean C & LV, No I.D., DJ Toomp and i liked most beats on there so i'm leaning more to the good side ... i think DJ Toomp is capable of making another type of Made You Look type song with him i'll just have to wait and see if he's working with the producers off AG then he's fucked.. CronicGreen 02-24-2008, 07:40 PM Nas keeps droppin hot traks 4 some reason Dan99 02-24-2008, 07:43 PM if he's working with the producers off AG then he's fucked.. How come everybody hates on "American Gangster" so much, I mean it was a dope record with dope beats. Killuminati96 02-24-2008, 07:46 PM ^Yea I mean American Gangster wasen't that bad of an album I mean it was way better then Kingdom Come. Jayant 02-24-2008, 07:46 PM lmao no it wasn't... i feel sorry for your ears Dan99 02-24-2008, 07:53 PM lmao no it wasn't... i feel sorry for your ears I mean everything was good except for the fact that Jay was rapping about drugs and about his life which was like 20 years ago even though he's like a multimillionaire, but that doesn't make the beats bad. joff 02-24-2008, 07:55 PM nice beat... lmao at the head-nodders......... nate08 02-24-2008, 08:04 PM Lmao at those clowns in the crowd nodding their heads. Killuminati96 02-24-2008, 08:04 PM lmao no it wasn't... i feel sorry for your ears IDK man IMO I found AG to be better then Kingdom Come I felt Kingdom Come was a bad album & a bad comeback for jay. stat-quo 02-24-2008, 08:58 PM nice song i want this cd B-Raff 02-24-2008, 09:36 PM How come everybody hates on "American Gangster" so much, I mean it was a dope record with dope beats. Because everyone is too busy being a disappointed Jay-Z fan. People who usually didn't listen to Jay-Z loved it because they were able to appreciate it for what it was, while the Jay-Z fans were busy comparing it to Reasonable Doubt. People who usually didn't listen to Jay-Z loved it because they were able to appreciate it for what it was, while the Jay-Z fans were busy comparing it to Reasonable Doubt. Hum, no. Let's all get this clear, american gangster wasn't that good. The production is, to me at least, correct, but nothing past that. No beat made me go like damn... at all. Then the lyrics... we all know jay dumbs down his shit... Then the subjects... Maybe it was just to fit the movie, but just another album about drugs and shit. And the guests, fucking lil wayne? Nah. Bad album, to me at least. I liked Curtis more then I liked AG, ffs... There is one song on AG that's in my playlist, and there's 900 songs in it... Captain Planet 03-01-2008, 02:24 PM American Gangster was a good album Pray American Dreamin No Hook Roc Boys I Know Party Life Ignorant Shit Say Hello Fallin American Gangster hacksign 03-01-2008, 02:33 PM American Gangster was a good album Pray American Dreamin No Hook Roc Boys I Know Party Life Ignorant Shit Say Hello Fallin American Gangster Best song on the album imo Captain Planet 03-01-2008, 02:41 PM ^^^ nah, that belongs to No Hook or American Dreamin |
