righto folks, this is how it works
Once we have sufficient entries for the tornament to start, the first round match ups will be posted. you will have 48 hrs to sign in to the thread to acknowledge that you will show, and then a few days (actual length of time is yet to be worked out with DBO and Nuke) in which to drop your verse, failure to check in and/or drop in time will mean you are eliminated.
DO NOT DROP your verse until you AND your opponent have checked into the thread.
the line limits will be posted with each match, if you drop less or more than the stated limit you will be eliminated. IT WILL BE A LINE LIMIT, so regardless of whether you make your writing bold and it causes the lines to spill over, and regardless of where you put // or any other thing which may effect the legth of your lines, if you exceed the LINE limit, you will be eliminated. (explanations in brackets may spill over)
there is to be absolutely NO BITING and absoloutly NO RECYCLING of verses in this tournament. IF you bite or recycle you will be eliminated.
Once both verses are in, people will vote on the battle. there will be no dickriding/hate/beef/crew/stupid/etc votes. If you feel that someone has voted against you out of dickriding/hate/beef yada yada, bring it to the attension of DBO, Nuke or myself and we will resolve it. If there is a lack of voting, crew members will be allowed to vote provided they explain their vote thoroughly and it fits with the other rules of voting ( no hate/dickriding/beef/stupid )
the number of votes needed to win will be posted with each match.
this will be a knock out tornament, which means if you lose a match, youre out completley (except in the case of a double no-show, in which case DBO, Nuke and myself will decide which person would be the best and most likely to show out of those who lost the last round, they will be allowed back in)
