I got this album about 6 years ago, played it a lot back then but didn't for a while until today, when I basically re-discovered how dope it is. I would say that it's one of the most underappreaciated west coast gangsta rap albums. The production is funky and does have the g-funk influence which you would expect, most of it is handled by Meech Wells and DJ Battlecat. Goldie Loc are Tray Dee are both above average rappers with great flows, and good mic presence. All the guest spots are cool: The Twinz, Kurupt, Jayo Felony, Rappin 4 Tay, Bad Azz, Xzibit, Nate Dogg, Kam, CPO, Sugafree, Kokane and Butch Cassidy. I would rate it a 9/10, not a classic but close to it.

Thoughts on this album?..

Sounds a sick lineup of artists, gonna have a butchers on Amazon see if I can get hold of it. Im trusting your judgement, you generally seem to know your shit. Going on the assumption of the Supastition album you upped, which is overly dope.[/unintentional arselick]

edit: £2.30 on Amazon yezzur. Might check Fopp first though, could be £1/£2.

Is that the one with "Nigga 4 Life" on?

If so...very entertaining album.
If not...I don't have a clue?

It is indeed, one of the best tracks on it.

Aye, it was the first track that came to my mind. I havn't actually got the album or any of the songs but I remember coming across it somewhere and giving it a listen. Sounded very good but like many albums I never got round to downloading it.

I mind snoop compared it to the chronic when it came out
Which kinda made it a disapointment for me at the time, but in reality its one of the best albums snoop has been involved with since his death row days
