The most underrated emcee ever, hands down...
Imo, he might just be the most consistent rapper ever..
I mean, just look at this discography:
Aceyalone
* All Balls Don't Bounce (1995)
* A Book of Human Language (with Mumbles) (1998)
* Accepted Eclectic (2001)
* Hip Hop and the World We Live In (2002)
* Love & Hate (2003)
* Magnificent City (with RJD2) (2006)
* Grand Imperial (2006)
* Lightning Strikes (2007)
with Freestyle Fellowship
* To Whom It May Concern… (1991)
* Innercity Griots (1993)
* Temptations (2001)
* Version 2.0: To Whom It May Concern, Remixes (2001)
* Innercity Griots Instrumentals (2002)
* Shockadoom (2002)
with Project Blowed
* Project Blowed (1994)
* Project Blowed 10th Anniversary (2005)
with Haiku D'Etat
* Haiku D'Etat (1999)
* Coup de Theatre (2004)
with The A-Team
* Who Reframed The A-Team (2000)
* Lab Down Under (2003)
The guy is a genius. EVERYONE will find something by him they will like, no matter what you're into. Personally, A Book of Human Language is my fav, closely followed by All Balls Don't Bounce and Innercity Griots.
I was let down by Lightning Strikes, which I thought was weak, but other than that, every album he has released has been great.
Give It Here (with Ahmad & Pep Love... Ahmad fucking kills it!)
