The most underrated emcee ever, hands down...
Imo, he might just be the most consistent rapper ever..
I mean, just look at this discography:

Aceyalone
* All Balls Don't Bounce (1995)
* A Book of Human Language (with Mumbles) (1998)
* Accepted Eclectic (2001)
* Hip Hop and the World We Live In (2002)
* Love & Hate (2003)
* Magnificent City (with RJD2) (2006)
* Grand Imperial (2006)
* Lightning Strikes (2007)

with Freestyle Fellowship
* To Whom It May Concern… (1991)
* Innercity Griots (1993)
* Temptations (2001)
* Version 2.0: To Whom It May Concern, Remixes (2001)
* Innercity Griots Instrumentals (2002)
* Shockadoom (2002)

with Project Blowed
* Project Blowed (1994)
* Project Blowed 10th Anniversary (2005)

with Haiku D'Etat
* Haiku D'Etat (1999)
* Coup de Theatre (2004)

with The A-Team
* Who Reframed The A-Team (2000)
* Lab Down Under (2003)

The guy is a genius. EVERYONE will find something by him they will like, no matter what you're into. Personally, A Book of Human Language is my fav, closely followed by All Balls Don't Bounce and Innercity Griots.
I was let down by Lightning Strikes, which I thought was weak, but other than that, every album he has released has been great.

Give It Here (with Ahmad & Pep Love... Ahmad fucking kills it!)

Completely agreed. Aceyalone is one my favorite emcees and all his projects are dope except for his last album, which was too experimental for me.

Yep. Legendary emcee with an amazing discography, though insanely underappreciated.

A Book of Human Language and All Balls Don't Bounce is my shit. ABHL is one of the best conceptual albums period.

his last album, which was too experimental for me.

Yeah, I heard he was supposed to release a series of albums, each album with a different sub-genre... Lightning Strikes - Dancehall...
Who knows how the next album is going to sound, I'm looking forward to it, but I hope to God that it's better than LS...

I tried so hard to get into that album but he sounded so out of place over those beats.

I agree, but I think that he is underheard. Most people who hear him like him. He has worked with great producers.
But LS was a bit different.
Maybe in a couple year people will be on forums naming Ls a gem.

^^I've seen several people claiming Lightning Strikes as his best already.. But it's just so... different... I don't really like dancehall, so that kind of fucked it up to me... I still liked some of the tracks though... Jungle Muzik & Easy was dope.. But yea, I don't like dance music...

And yeah he's unheard, but he's underrated too... I've talked to many that have listened to him, but NEVER seen anyone, besides myself, who has ranked him amongst their top 20 or 10 rappers, and I rarely see anyone mentioning him, unless I bring him up.

He's alright..

Co-sign.

His early shit was pretty dope, but a lot of his recent stuff is garbage.

Temptations is one of the worst albums I own.
