I didn't think he had it in him.
This is probably the best D-Block album in a minute. Sheek (other than jae hood) used to be the weakest link in the Lox, but he's giving Styles P and Jada a run for their money with this album. Good production.
Florida Breeze 06-12-2008, 12:59 AM Em..Are you for real??
Yeah I'm for real.
2008 has been a slow year for hip-hop, so far. The summer's coming up though, and then the fall and that's the best time of year for albums so my list is definitely going to change. I really like The Carter 3, but I hope it's not the album of the year because I'll be disappointed.
I'm looking forward to Common, Heltah Skeltah, G-Unit, T.I., Ludacris, Busta Rhymes and a whole bunch of others...this can be a really good season for music.
.majiK™ 06-12-2008, 02:08 AM Kidz In The Hall - The In Crowd
Bun-B - II Trill
The Roots - Rising Down
N.E.R.D. - Seeing Sounds
Gnarls Barkley - The Odd Couple
Lil' Wayne - Tha Carter III
elZhi - Euro Pass
Coldplay - Viva la Vida
Wale - The Mixtape About Nothing
No order, that's pretty much all I've listened to the whole year. D/l'd the last three. I actually bought C3 cause I had a leftover $10 Circuit City gift card from GTAIV so I was like ahh what the fuck.
Donmega 06-12-2008, 06:56 AM I didn't think he had it in him.

He never really released a weak album to begin with. He may not be lyrical but his first 2 albums are quality.

Not heard anything about them but the stuff you reccommend is rarely disappointing.
theres threads to both of them
Plug Zero 06-12-2008, 07:07 PM H.N.I.C. 2 is my fav of 2008
Jayant 06-12-2008, 08:38 PM ^ yeah that was my pick for album, but nas nigger tape was the best of the year so far even though it was a mixtape.
Cengiz 06-17-2008, 01:31 AM After giving eMC's The Show another few listens since i first got it, i have to change my mind on it.. a very good album, very consistent - would have to be my favourite of the year so far just above Ode To The Ghetto.
