A question diabolic, pertaining to a subject demonic
In this hell we frolic, swaying to a devils song melodic
Your cursing any chance for enlightenment or knowledge
saints are liars, your noose is swinging on a promise

My vote goes to RJ cutta

heres why, Ex has a great verse full of vivid imagery and dark metaphors. I really liked some of your lines and the message of your verse, but it lacked a story or an ending, and it didn't end on a riddle either i felt it just sort of ended.

Rj's verse was made up of questions basically making you think the whole time, he stayed on point and i felt his lines were more directly related.

this was a pretty strait battle. I thought both verses where pretty decent.
I really enjoyed EX's more so than cuttas, due to the fact of the content
was more entertaining to me, the vocab may have edged out some on
EX's part but the story telling seemed to be taken away by EX
It seemed like at the end, cutta more so was just using big words, and sometimes that gets annoying to me anyways...

Decent overall verse. Peculiar subject matter. I think the topic change and 'riddle' could've been put together better. You started off talking on behalf of the populace since you used the word 'We'. In the beginning, we're placed in hell where we are frolicking around listening to a melody from the devil. Then the verse turns into demonizing the saints and questioning the moral implications of Jesus Christ and pastors in general. You reveal that the riddle is 'how do we stop enjoying sin?' only to reveal the answer is 'no'. Afterwards you conclude that there are no celestial identities of either side and we are all alone. The listener must face this fact. Then you call them victims of a hoax.

I think it lacked structure. You started off using the wrong tense of words like 'frolic' , 'melodic' just to force a rhyme. There were times when the flow of the verse was gone, and it wasn't much of a riddle because you revealed and answered the question in a matter of one line instead of letting the verse make it's own implications and open-ended answer for the listener.

Good overall verse. You start off by naming qualities about what the speaker is and is not. You ask the reader a question and give a strong hint to the answer without fully revealing itself. If one is many, yet none at all, can we all be nothing, and one be all?--That was a very good internal riddle to compliment the riddle of the verse itself. It was good choice and order of words and an open-ended question. Next, you give the listener another clue as to figure out the riddle by saying "If you start you must evolve". You conclude with a wide array of characteristics of the speaker and the actions of those who oppose the speaker. And you ended the verse by asking the true question to the riddle: What am I?

I think you did pretty good with sticking with the theme of the drop. It had riddle-like qualities throughout and you did a good job of holding the listener's interest without giving away the answer. The word choice was good. I liked the vocabulary used. It was sophisticated and yet simplistic. I think in the future you should fgo for a few more complex rhymes if it's possible to do so without sacrificing the drop as a whole. Overall good verse.

Overall
I liked both verses (although I disagreed with what was said by both of you relating to God) and I put aside my feelings to evaluate the verses as a whole. I think EX did a good job, but didn't stick to the theme of the riddle as well as RJ Cutta did. And I also think RJ Cutta did a better job of painting the picture inside my head. Good Battle to both of you
