View Full Version : ***my Thoughts On Dr Dre And Ja Rule's Fight***
brettpope88 02-06-2004, 09:18 AM First off I have to give credit to Dr Dre and what he has done for the rap industry in the long time he has been the rap game.
Some of you may not know but before Tupac died Dre and Tupac had an argument because Dre would not come down to see Snoop when he was in court for attemted murder.
This sparked a massive argument causing Dre to resign from Death Row.
Now the with battle between Ja Rule and Dre, Dre is abusing Ja Rule because Ja Rule publicly mourned Tupac.
Dr Dre immediatly made "S*** Hits The Fan" with Eminem and Obie Trice, which says quote
"And p**** you're not Pac, I knew em
Pac was a real n****, you just a f***** insult to em, It's too bad we had to fallout before he past, if he could see this s*** now he'd be whoopin' yo a**."
No would someone tell what decent rap fan did not mourn Tupac's death?? Then why isn't he abusing the whole rap community?? This part basicly says that he knew Tupac and what he would do if someone mourned his death.
Before Pac died as I said before, Dre and Pac hated each other. They often dissed each in songs and now Dre has realized what people now think of Pac and what is become his trying to act by saying he knew him.
My view may be a little extreme, some people may agree some wont, but thats ok.Thanks for taking the time to read this.
Cheers.
reaper 02-06-2004, 09:30 AM now i am not sure about this but wasn´t it Ja Rule who first dissed 50 Cent then Eminem and then Dr Dre..
and that was just some shit that Dre said to Ja Rule cos Ja Rule wants to be like 2Pac and thinks that 2Pac would hang out with a guy like Ja Rule is..

First off this entire histories wrong. Dre left Deathrow WAY BEFORE the murder trial. From the accounts of him and other former members of Deathrow, there was too much bullshit goin on at Deathrow from gangfights in the hallways to Suge Knight's involvement in organized crime. And Pac dissed Dre, but Dre never dissed Pac. And Pac mostly did it becuz Deathrow was burnin all the bridges and destroyin Dre's crediblity, and Pac was just following along. And they didnt "hate" each other, it was just business. They did fall out but it wasnt on a personal level at all.
And second, Ja Rule never "publically mourned" 2Pac's death. He acts, walks, and talks like Pac. His songnames and album art are strikeingly similiar to Pac's. In the words of 50 Cent "Pac had a bald head, and you [Ja Rule] shaved your head bald. Pac wore a bandana, and now you wear a bandana. Pac got a tattoo of a cross on his back, and you got two." Look at three of his videos before Clap Back. One of em's actually a collaboration with Pac. The other flashes signs of RIP Pac at the end (the one at the carnival with Ashanti). And than the other one is just plain disgusting - Ja get shot, at the end of the video and than they flash pictures of Pac in Vegaz and Big in LA. Thats not mourning his death or admiring his work - thats exploiting his image and his death just to sell more albums. I think the rap community agrees that if Pac was here and saw what Ja Rule is doing, he would woop his ass.
R*O*Y*C*E 02-12-2004, 06:52 AM ^here here ....that shit you said about the Ja Video wit big and pac gettin killed is so right, sa'll publicity to get more sales and get respected by peps who dont know shit about hip hop thinkin, they prob thinknin that he was down with Pac n all so they buy it...
shadyslady 02-12-2004, 05:12 PM I'm sorry but "the reign" video just made me crack up,not cause of the pac issue because of how corny the ending was with the dramatic music...just my opinion. If i was a fan of Ja (which im not) it would actually put me off buying his records.
I don't think Dre was pissed because of the public mourning it's cause ja is trying so hard to be him and also he's with 50 and Em so he is getting involved in the beef but for his own reasons i guess.
RedScare 02-13-2004, 12:07 PM He went at Ja Rule cuz Ja dissed Dre first. And what was even more ridiculous about Ja Rule dissin Dre was that he was sayin basically that Pac didnt like Dre which shows how much Ja Rule is on Pac's dick.
Street Marine 02-13-2004, 04:08 PM I don't know about all this. I don't watch any of rules videos because as far as I'm concerned Ja can suck a dick. The man is so damn fake it aint funny no more. If all this shit is true and Ja is exploiting Pacs image than Ja seriously needs his ass beat. Only reason no one does it is because Ja is too pussy to fight, he has a gun on him at all times.
J-Dub87 04-14-2004, 03:22 PM yeh ja gotta akrite, hes fooling with pac and he didnt even know him, dres lyrics on bodyguard saying he "knew pac, u are a fuckin insult to him" is soo right, dre done the right thing, i know dre and pac had a supposed falling out, but thtas bullshit, its Suge knight who made pac retaliate 4 dre leaving deatrh row. i think its funny, look at dre now, hes the master of the game, making millions of all these new talents, while little suge knight is left with old timers like kurupt and a shits like crooked I. fuck suge!
FreeFlow 04-14-2004, 06:40 PM Man if you were a punk ass motherfucka like ja and you were runing a label called Murder Inc wouldn't you be packing all da time?
lawdka0z 04-15-2004, 03:42 AM "its just too bad we had to fall out before he passed __BECAUSE__ if he was here he'd be kickin yo ass"
what kind of sentance is that? 2pac would _only_ be kicking Ja'z ass _if_ Dre and 2pac hadn't fallen out?..
its that kind of poorly contstructed sentance that reflects how lazy and unskilled Dre is as a lyricallist/producer.. 2pac didnt like Dre because dre was a lazy bastard who didnt contribute to DeathRow's success..

BOLLOCKS!! dre lazy, damn without dres outstanidng effort on the chronic, death row wud not have been there. the chronic started death row, witohut that death row wud never be. Dre was not lazy, producing most of snoops shit in that era, producing a few pac songs. MAn he werent lazy, hes just craving for perfection.
tupac1 07-20-2004, 08:59 PM dre lazy, shut up! a mean hes in the studio workin on the best songs ive ever heard e.g in da club when that came out i was like WOAH! man hes not lazy hes one man that isnt lazy and if u have ever listened to dres songs hes got good flow n his words r ill! go listen! if it wasnt for him u wouldnt hear eminem! or maybe even 50 if u hadnt heard his mixtapes!
NotoriouSFaN 07-21-2004, 07:52 AM the thing I didnt understand and still dont understand is that ja rule was tryin to take on more rappers than he had to, cos he had beef with 50; but a while later he had beef with...busta rhymes, dmx, eminem, d12, obie trice, dr. dre and the list goes on...
Why the hell would he do that? This guy cant see nothin because of his arrogance. He thought he could handle it, but he got killed by each and every rapper he dissed. This coward has almost died a thousend deaths...
ViSionz 08-01-2004, 02:16 PM yeah 2pac didnt like dre cuz 2pac was like a 'workaholic' in the studio, writin NUFF shit, n dre basically said he didnt have the time or effort-sort-of-thing to produce n work on all these songs with him..so pac called him lazy n shit
but aprart from that i totally agree with RedScare about Ja..
Fuckin punk NEEDS to get buck the fuck up 1 time..
big up dre still
