G-Unit member Game has recently sat down for an interview in which he tells his side of the story between G-Unit and Joe Buddens. Game claims that the beef started when he was asked to do a song for a DJ Clue mixtape. He says that Joe Budden was thrown on the song in the final edit by DJ Clue. He also states that Joe Budden took shots at G-Unit on the track knowing that Game was also on the song. Game then says that he met Joe Budden at the NBA All-Star game and Joe Budden shook his hand nervously. Game claims that at the time he had no knowledge of Joe Budden's verse on the track.

Two weeks later Game claims that 50 Cent called him and asked him, "Did you make a song with Joe Budden?" Game replied that he hadn't made a song with Joe Budden. Then 50 Cent told Game to grab his DJ Clue CD and listen to the song. Game says that after he listened to the track he realized why Joe Budden nervously shook his hand at the All-Star game and that's when Game decided to make a track dissing him.

Game later describes the situation by saying:

"Its like RuPaul dissing Shaq and Shaq wants to put money on RuPaul’s head – why? You know he’s a faggot and he might be mad at himself for being the type of nigga that he is. And I use the RuPaul to Shaq comparison because I am up-and-coming and come in the game so I can beast it and I used that because he’s a feminine guy. He used to be a go-go dancer. We discovered that. He used to sing in a group with songs like “Butter Love” and shit like that. He was doing the pelvic thrust. His new name is Go Go Buddens."
