As the beef between G-Unit's Game and Joe Budden continues, New York City radio station Hot 97 invited Game to sit down and talk about the beef. Unbeknown to Game at the time, Hot 97 had plans to call Joe Budden and let the two speak to eachother live on air. Game, who had been rambling on about wanting to fight Joe Budden quickly changed his attitude when Sway, Rich Nice, Miss Info and the rest of the morning crew decided to make the call. Joe Budden, who treats the entire beef as a joke laughingly said, "it's all for fun".
Joe Budden and Game Conversation Snippet=
Game: ...I feel like I wasted my last $500 dollars on the flight up here to New York.
Joe Budden: You're not wasting your money on the flight. I'm getting phone calls like crazy saying you're up here doing promos. You up here doing your damn thing. I did it; the whole... I did that. When it was time for me to do promos I did it. So listen for real for real. Lemme tell you what's going on right now. Because I heard dude on the radio last night. I hear him now. He's real disrespectful but that's beside the point. Cause this is bigger than me and him. Me and him is a side bar. This has been going on for years with me, 50, my production company, G-Unit, that whole crew over there. See Game is new over there. So it's like he doesn't really even know. For real for real.
Game: It don't even matter what I know. We're talking about what's now. I don't even care about all that other stuff. I'm talking about what's now and how you chose to jump on indirectly and defame my team. And you're a smart enough MC to know that that ain't right my nigga. And I had a lot of respect for you until then. So I don't care about that other stuff.
Joe Budden: Number One..I'm not saying it for you. I'm saying it for the people who don't know as well. Number Two... Let's do a litte bit of math here. You and Stack did a freestyle. I got on the end of it. I said whatever the line was. Bottom line of it all.. I'm known as a metaphor dude. So I said the metaphor. Even at the end I shouted the nigga out. Shouted Game, shouted Stack, and that was the bottom line of it. If I would have said the line by myself then any nigga woulda said, "Yeah he taking shots at me." Because I normally send subliminal disses....

The conversation continued with Game claiming that he was disrespected and Joe Budden chuckling about how it was taken out of proportion. The show ended with Sway and Rich Nice playing both diss songs and asking the listeners to call in and vote for the winner. A record setting 97% of the callers voted for Joe Buddens instantly making it the biggest lopsided win in Hot 97 history breaking the 86% Jay-Z got over Mobb Deep. But the drama isn't finished. Hot 97 promises that tomorrow 50 Cent, and Loyd Banks will be live on the morning show to discuss the beef. They've invited Game to return and Joe Budden might stop by as well.
