Nas Gets Robbed?
Many sources have reported that Nas, the self-proclaimed God's Son was robbed. Word has been spreading on the internet and radio that Nas is recovering in a Cincinnati Hospital after being assaulted and robbed upon leaving a performance earlier this week. The gossip says that two men threw Nas to the ground, kicked and punched him several times and torched the car he was traveling in.
Nas' camp is denying the rumor and the Cincinnati Herald, where the story allegedly stemmed from, has no record of such a report.
Benzino's Back At It
After taking on Eminem, Ray Benzino is now aiming at 50 Cent, Outkast, The Roots and Da Band on The Untouchables' single, "I'ma Killa." Benzino seems to be upset at a variety of topics. He belives that Outkast has changed their demeanor since they were first introduced wearing regular clothes and rapping about topics regarding their neighborhood. And seems disgusted as The Roots for both supporting Eminem last year and for performing with Justin Timberlake after Justin left Janet Jackson to fend for herself against the media. Zino's barrage begins with a reference to Outkast as he reveals:
"I'm not an Outkast / I make my music for the people"
before ridiculing 50 for his Grammy snub. Only a few lines later, Zino spits:
"rip The Roots out the ground they walk on / make Da Band play taps while I get my chalk on."
He also makes references to The Roots backing Eminem at last year's Grammys saying "that shit almost made me throw the fuck up."
