[Who Writes The Album] - 24/03/04
It appears that 'Who Writes The Song' is the first of many tracks bis has released with Jeymes Samuel. According to Jeymes, in a recent interview, they will have a full length album dropping entitled 'The Urbs' after Jeymes Solo release this September.

JEYMES SAMUEL interview, taken from GUESTLIST DVD MAGAZINE;
"Me and Canibus first met in London a few years ago. We had a deep respect and admiration for each other musically and mentally, then we were just hanging out everyday and putting each other on to different music and films. We have so much in common. Ayatollah's also a close friend of mine and has produced half of my album so when I was recording 'Who Write The Songs' I wanted the ILLEST lyricist in the world on the track. In my eyes the only person I can give that crown to is Canibus. I have never heard anybody spit the way Bis does and his use of the English language is equalled only by the body count of dead MC's he has behind him. So for me, as a fan, it was like, hang on a minute, I can finally hear what it would be like to have Bis on an Ayatollah track and in doing so, get to go toe to toe with one of the best rhymesmiths to ever roam Middle Earth. With my hand on mmy heart I think Canibus is one of the best MC's of all time, and it's a crying shame that these days, a rappers ability is judged on the music you're rapping to... and that's why people have tried to play down Bis' skill, but lyrically, Canibus' rep is untarnished. The man is a straight up genius. Now I'm a singer but as Bis says, I'm kinda nice with the blah, blah, blah so it's like a singer and an MC back to back in a gladiatorial arena just taking on whoever. So I flew out to ATL (where Bis was at the time) and he wrote his rhymes on the spot and spat them. Listen to the track, the whole of Bis' part is ONE TAKE!!!! This guy is unbelievable. Since then we have done a lot of recording and have a whole album coming out called "THE URBS" which is Me , Canibus & Ayatollah, and features Vinia Mojica and other guests. Sade is hopefully gonna get up on a track or two also. It's gonna be sick."
The Urbs album is going to come out after 'Urban Folk Music' (Jeymes Samuel's album, which is released September '04).
