The army has'nt slowed Canibus down one bit. Canibus has released two full albums and two mixtapes within the last two years along with several up and coming projects in the works. In addition to recording and Army life, Canibus has also filmed a video along side James Sameul (Seal's brother) for 'Who writes the song?' The song was recorded last summer for the 'Late Night Tales' Compilation by Sly and Robbie and is making a lot of noise in the U.K. In addition to that, Canibus has been spotted (and photographed) in London along side the controversial author of "The satanic verses" Salman Rushdie. Rumor has it Canibus is writing a journal on his experience in the army and the two met so Canibus could get some pointers. While there in London Canibus and Jeymes Samuel performed 'Who writes the song?' live at Ruby Lo. Several projects are due out this year from Canibus including the Rap/Rock hybrid group 'BlakMilc' Project which he is a member of. The HRSMN (Horsemen) album that features Kurupt, Ras Kass, Killah Priest and Canibus. Other artist such as Chino xl have signed up to lend their voices with a few more un-announced Emcees. According to Ras Kass in a recent interview Kurupt is try to find a label to put out this sure to be classic album. Be on the lookout for "Mic Club-The Curriculum" LP due out May 25th, 2004 on Babygrande/Micclub/Koch. Canibus will drop his sixth album sometime this summer so keep your eyes open. The 12inch for "Indibisible" b/w "No Return" by Japan's DJ Hazu will also be made available soon. Canibus, Jeymes Samuel, Ayatollah have done an album together called "THE URBS" with will include Giant Step/Fruitmeat recording artist Vinia Mojica and other guests. Canibus will also appear with Jeymes Samuel for his debut album 'Urban Folk Music' that's due out this September. Canibus will also be in the follow up to the triple platnuim dvd "Beef" due out this summer.

listen,i dont know where this would really go but i just signed on and i was reading some of what peolpe where saying about canibus.some cat said canibus could spit but he aint no pac,tell me.what is so great about pac.i put my life on pac can not beat canibus in a freestyle battle,no contest.all pac did is act like he is a ganster.no skills,you have tallent when you can come off the dome and 2 pac couldent do that.shit biggie kicked his ass in freestyling.eminem wont battle him straight up,only on record.its about skills and dick heads like lil john screaming making millions is not talent.FUCK PAC

2 pac touched alot of people, because they could relate,
and back then i dont think there was alot of science/pure hardcore shit like canibus makes now.
but i aint touchin on this subject much,

So what if he's touched a lot of people? So what if his fans could relate to him? There are plenty of other artist like that around the world, from Country to Ska. Hell, sometimes you don't even have to be an artist to touch a lot of people in masses. Lets look at all of the christian rappers. They don't touch as many people as Pac has because of their lyrics and promotions.

Before you guys start badmouthin Pac, wacth Tupac:Resurection, the movie. I agree that he does have a lot songs about gangsta shit, but he also has songs like Changes and Untill the End of Time among with many others that are not considered 'gangsta'. In the Resurection movie, Tupac says that 'thug' does't mean a criminal, it means someone that is poor. He did change hip hop. I think Canibus and Tupac are both very good rappers, they are just different. You can't really compare them. And Eminem against Canibus would be a joke. Canibus would destroy him.

That's just degrading your own dumb self , just be real and listen to Canibus ... lyrically he can't be touched by many (Some exceptions : Last Emperor , Icon The Mic King) because those verses are so cleverly written the way you really have to de-cypher them sometimes and It all makes sense.
