You have to combine everybody in the midwest just to fuck with ATL which is one city. The West Coast is a fucking joke right now. And the East Coast is gettin outshined now that Jigga stepped down. Wrong. MC's from the Bronx, Brooklyn, Queens, Staten, or Manhattan are indeed MC's from New York City. These are the 5 neighborhoods that NYC is comprised of. So MC's from any of these areas are MC's from NYC regardless. The list is way too long to name them all. Remember, NYC is easily the most densely populated city in the US with 9 million residents. Obviously, this breeds a lot of MC's. The next largest city is LA with only 3 million.

After NYC I'd have to go with LA. Even though I prefer the East Coast Style, historically there have been hundreds of dope MC's stemming from the LA area. Although they aren't "popping" right now that can easily change in one day because they are talented out there. The list is too long to name them all as well.

After LA, I'd go with Philly. Vinnie Paz, The Roots, High & Mighty, Bahamadia, Jus Allah, Journalist, - not many MC's that I'm interested in but no other city comes to mind.

After Philly, I'd go with Detroit. Eminem and Royce respectively.

After Detroit, who I guess I'd go with Ohio. I like the Wu affiliates that stem from this area (Killah Army).

I don't like anyone or anything from the South, so I'm not going to even bother mentioning them.

I'll say it again. Obie Trice is wack. Nearly everybody over at that label is wack, except for 50. Obie and D-12 all follow the same formula, just like Eminem.
