E3 2004: Looks like you'll be riding 'round town, on ya low rider bicycle


It's a direct reflection of GTA's massive impact that the release of three screenshots can shoot it straight to the top of the E3 agenda, despite the fact that it's not actually due to be on the show floor.

The shots confirm a Latino slant, and suggest at least two new gameplay wrinkles - drive-by shootings (perhaps in an on-line gang co-op? We can dream), and stupid little bicycles.

• Tweaked Vice City
• Entire state of San Andreas included, meaning three cities will be present in the game, each connected by countryside. Los Santos, a fictional Los Angeles, San Fierro, a rendition of San Francisco, and La Venturra, which is the Grand Theft Auto version of Las Vegas.
• Larger map, which is much more interesting and "alive" than Vice City. Hills have been confirmed, and even a mountain is to be included.
• Smog will be present in Los Santos to give it a "real life" feeling.
• "Characters from the past" will return.
• Ragdoll physics, aka "Impact Animation" similar to that seen in recent PC titles like Far Cry, Half Life 2 and Max Payne 2.
• In La Venturra, set up a casino, or gamble in those owned by others.

• House robberies will take place but require skill and planning.
• Stamina Meter. Carl will have to consume food on his journey across San Andreas, and will gain weight if he eats too much. Gyms will be available to work out in.

The story is u go back to pay respects to ur mom who is murdered.CJ's been in liberty city for 5 years. He meets his fam,and old friends and old life. The gang called Orange Grove Families is a mess and under attack from outside and within the gang. he doesnt want to go back to his old life but is dragged back in it.

PSM says u can customize hairstyle,physique,weight,driving skills,clothes,possessions,weapon skills,character,relationships,and start a small gang.

U can eat at resteraunts and get fat.

And even ride a bicycle by tappin X.

U can hold certain weapons like uzi's in both hands now.

"U can take CJ to the gym and get buff"-

Weight affects your physical capabilities,and if you gain too much weight u can expect some nasty insults"-

The city San Andreas is 5 times larger than Vice City.its and entire state comprised of 3 cities.San Fierro(san francisco) has lots of hills for great jumps. Los Santos(los angelas),and Las venturra(Las Vegas) there are huge portions of deserts, the game doesnt load much now either. Also the bridges wont take long to load. And everything will me much more detailed.

Yea...you can also take the nigga to them Gym....and pump iron....and he can get swole up and shyt, but it would slow him down in the streets...but he'll be strong. You can also go grab something to eat...but with that comes along gaining weight...jus like real life shyt. Those jus a few otha new features of the game...
