^ Yea, except one is an actor/actor and the other is an actor/martial artist. Jet Li would win, but Jackie is a better actor and in movies he always gets hit unlike Jet who has to play God in all of his films. Jackie is more entertaining as a character, maybe he'll make Jet laugh and sucker punch him. Seriously though, Jet Li and Cris Tucker as partners wouldn't make for a very funny Rush Hour. Also, Jackie Chan as "The One" wouldn't be quite as convincing nor could he have done "Red Dragon" since he's not scary enough. Though both of those movies had crappy storylines and mediocre acting.

But Jackie's success in martial arts is far less impressive. He may have studied, but has he mastered? Jet Li won just about every (I think it was every) Wushu tournament that he's been in. Jet may use wires for films, but what he does with and without it isn't "normal" stuff. Jackie couldn't do that. Also, Whushu is not drunken boxing, those are two entirely different arts. Whushu is something that both Jet and Jackie studied, but Jet Li is obviously better. Check his trophies. Jet Li probably isn't the absolute best out there, but his achievement in martial arts definately shows that he's up there. There aren't any other martial artists/actors that compare to his success with martial arts.

Agreed, though I do like the action in Li's movies he knows how to make fights look good. The only thing is he must have a God complex, because he almost never gets hit in his movies.

I agree speed alone won't help but his learning of Gung-fu gives the part of versatilty, true he did not show them the full ropes, but also JKD also has some parts in boxing also, which gave the offense of the fist, but i'm sure you kno that also

They both did some Wushu, and Jet Li mastered it. He knows more than just the showy parts. Show doesn't win tornaments, and Jet Li dominated them. Few arts have as many techniques as Wushu, there's a lot of variety in it use.
