Dras 07-14-2004, 02:05 AM I would want jakie to win but iono BusterHymen 07-14-2004, 04:20 AM jet li is a 7 time world martial arts champion jackie just took acrobitics and a small amount of martial arts but he did pick up some from other actors but he wouldn't stand a chance against jet a better fight would be jet and donnie yen ~Damien~ 07-15-2004, 01:29 AM Yo, for dude to look pissed 24/7, Jet Li must have the skill to beat some ass. There's no way I'm willing to believe that Chan can contend with Li like that.. Wreckin Eyez 07-15-2004, 02:01 AM Jet Li only studies defensive fighting. He doesn't know anything about throwing a punch. Jackie Chan would kick the shit out of Jet Li. Cuzzo has madd talent and all but I have a sneaky doubt that having a doctorite degree in Social Science or being Nickelodeon's Favorite Butt Kicker would help in any in a street fight against Jet Li. He just might lose this one.. Apollyon 07-15-2004, 08:48 AM Is it too late to change my bet? The best martial artists spend years meditating behind waterfalls. :( M.Gsmokealot 07-15-2004, 12:41 PM jet kick dat ass ez xdecent 07-15-2004, 01:28 PM ya u prolly rite damien......but no one can predict....it would be a tight one.... but u gotta admit...jackie chan does all his stunts by himself......all i gotta say is he has balls... n he is a better entertainer ok coming back to street fighting....hmmmmm tuff one 2 predict pz pz COVERT 07-15-2004, 08:03 PM jet would win ~Damien~ 07-16-2004, 09:02 AM The best martial artists spend years meditating behind waterfalls. :( So I've heard.. But XDecent, that would be an interesting fight. I think I'd rather watch it while I'm drunk, though.. Royce Da 5'9 07-16-2004, 11:50 AM Jet Lee. What kinda question is dat? wordman 07-16-2004, 12:31 PM Yo serioulsy.. Jet Li, would Fucken Slaughter that Kid.. thats not Even a question, I would watch Jet Li in a movie, then jackie chan, anyday..... This Question should have not even been Posted... Jet Li VS Bruce Lee.. Now thats More of a Fight.. That would be a Fierce Battle.. ... HOly Fuck..would it ever... Bruce would Probelly take it.. But i Dont know Don_C 07-16-2004, 12:48 PM Rofl, man Jackie Chan can fight man, I agree with you a bout Jet Li I wanted to see what others thought. I am 07-16-2004, 08:22 PM Jet Li.... No Doubt... he spent so many years in training... the Dude was SUPER DISCIPLINED<<<Fuck Spelling... but anyway.. he would do like thousands of Punches and Kicks a Day... waking up Early in da Morning till night for YEEEAARS... in this Camp.... it was Hell For Him... but it made him the Greatest... he would beat Jackie... though it would be a good battle.. Dont Sleep on Chan, dude has skills... He just more of a Stunt Man now... Jet Li is a Fighter, on a Level that he probably couldnt even show his Viewers... Dynamik 07-16-2004, 08:32 PM Jet Li Mos Def.. He'd Rip Bout Anyone.. I am 07-16-2004, 08:41 PM Damn!! Thats a HOT Sig and Avvy you got there!! Dynamik 07-16-2004, 08:44 PM ^^Umm.. Thx.. Cra-Z 07-18-2004, 09:27 PM I'mma go with Chan, but they're both actors. T1Oracle 07-29-2004, 12:55 PM ^ Yea, except one is an actor/actor and the other is an actor/martial artist. Jet Li would win, but Jackie is a better actor and in movies he always gets hit unlike Jet who has to play God in all of his films. Jackie is more entertaining as a character, maybe he'll make Jet laugh and sucker punch him. Seriously though, Jet Li and Cris Tucker as partners wouldn't make for a very funny Rush Hour. Also, Jackie Chan as "The One" wouldn't be quite as convincing nor could he have done "Red Dragon" since he's not scary enough. Though both of those movies had crappy storylines and mediocre acting. AngelusxPhan 09-03-2004, 02:47 AM WTF WTF WTF are you all talking about!? I joined this forum JUST FOR THIS TOPIC. Jet li is all show and no go. Jackie Chan on the other hand trained in several different variations of martial arts, including Kung-Fu, and Hapkido, he is considered to be the Drunken master, drunken being a style much superior to the style that jet li uses, which is called Wushu. Jackie Chan would own jet li. jet li is just an actor. Ofcourse if you threw Bruce Lee into the mix, he is da man, Bruce lee would destroy them both, but JET LI IS A TOY. R.O.K.I. 09-03-2004, 03:53 AM Neither of them would accept to battle the other one anyway, Chinese respect ... I respect both but I grew up with Jackie Chan so he'll always be my favourite :D YuNg BoI 09-03-2004, 07:02 AM Jet Li but what about the old basketball player Kareem Abdul Jabbar? he was a master student of Bruce Lee so what it was him versus Jet Li R.O.K.I. 09-03-2004, 07:10 AM Jet Li would definitely whoop his ass i think :p U know, cuz Jet Li's got the wires mannnnn ,loll YuNg BoI 09-03-2004, 07:15 AM I don't know Jabbar went under extinsive training with lee so it may be a stalemate depending how it is hes in my sig anyway R.O.K.I. 09-03-2004, 07:32 AM but he's kinda old for that shit no? I am 09-03-2004, 11:19 AM Jet Li.... VVVVV the sig says it all!! LastEmperor 09-03-2004, 11:43 AM Jet would win. What people here think happened 2 bruce? he died in real suspicious circumstances Tw!stEd 09-03-2004, 01:24 PM Jet Li would win in a fight. But Jackie chan is the far superior actor, and the best martial art chorographer in the world. T1Oracle 09-03-2004, 04:39 PM WTF WTF WTF are you all talking about!? I joined this forum JUST FOR THIS TOPIC. Jet li is all show and no go. Jackie Chan on the other hand trained in several different variations of martial arts, including Kung-Fu, and Hapkido, he is considered to be the Drunken master, drunken being a style much superior to the style that jet li uses, which is called Wushu. Jackie Chan would own jet li. jet li is just an actor. Ofcourse if you threw Bruce Lee into the mix, he is da man, Bruce lee would destroy them both, but JET LI IS A TOY. But Jackie's success in martial arts is far less impressive. He may have studied, but has he mastered? Jet Li won just about every (I think it was every) Wushu tournament that he's been in. Jet may use wires for films, but what he does with and without it isn't "normal" stuff. Jackie couldn't do that. Also, Whushu is not drunken boxing, those are two entirely different arts. Whushu is something that both Jet and Jackie studied, but Jet Li is obviously better. Check his trophies. Jet Li probably isn't the absolute best out there, but his achievement in martial arts definately shows that he's up there. There aren't any other martial artists/actors that compare to his success with martial arts. YuNg BoI 09-03-2004, 06:23 PM but he's kinda old for that shit no? not really, martial arts is a lifetime activity only difference is that Jabbar studied Jeet Kune Do and Li studied Wushu Jeet Kune Do has to do more with speed and versatility Multiplaxed, 09-03-2004, 06:29 PM Jet would murder Jackie Chan, No doubt about it.. Chan way too old now and jet got more speed on him.. Someone mentioned bruce lee... Bruce Lee woulda murdered em both. .Inphinite. 09-03-2004, 07:27 PM Lol... Cool thread... Li would win... but I htink Jackie is better... Better and funnier films... Jackies Chan is the man! LastEmperor 09-03-2004, 08:39 PM Someone mentioned bruce lee... Jackies Chan is the man! Agreed, though I do like the action in Li's movies he knows how to make fights look good. The only thing is he must have a God complex, because he almost never gets hit in his movies. not really, martial arts is a lifetime activity only difference is that Jabbar studied Jeet Kune Do and Li studied Wushu Jeet Kune Do has to do more with speed and versatility Bruce Lee invented JKD (Jeet Kune Do), but he learned Wing Chung before he developed it. The students that he taught never learned Wing Chun. Unforntunately for them, Wing Chun was a big part of Bruce's technique, his defense came from it. JKD alone is nothing, even the concept of it (it means the way of the intercepting fist) is seldom possible even with Bruce Lee's speed. Without defense your only betting on your luck that your fast powerful attack is going to do it before your opponent can catch you with something. That's not a very good gamble. Although the speed and power is nice. YuNg BoI 09-03-2004, 11:52 PM Bruce Lee invented JKD (Jeet Kune Do), but he learned Wing Chung before he developed it. I agree speed alone won't help but his learning of Gung-fu gives the part of versatilty, true he did not show them the full ropes, but also JKD also has some parts in boxing also, which gave the offense of the fist, but i'm sure you kno that also h3at 09-04-2004, 12:29 PM dis is a fuckin stupid thread but if i had to pick i would pick jackie chan he makes his own stunts fuck jet li LastEmperor 09-04-2004, 08:55 PM if the thread is so stupid then why you post in it. stupid. Lyphe 09-29-2004, 12:17 AM Jet Li is the next Bruce Lee... I would love to see Li VS Lee. *starts drooling at carnage* Bruce would win though... I think... BrooklynBoy1 09-29-2004, 10:09 AM jet li is a fuckin dog jackie chan aint got a chance EAZZY 10-17-2004, 03:16 PM Jet Li would win I'd like to see Bruce Lee in his days against Jet Li -------> Bruce would win I guess Heat Wave 10-23-2004, 08:57 PM i dint wanan read the otehr pages but wtf is worng with yall jet li over jackie chan any day chackie chan is funny and all his moves are fake hes not really quick and fast liek that jet li actually a pro fighter inreal life Sike 11-30-2004, 10:55 AM Jet Li studied Wushu fuckers. Wushu is all show no substance. Jacky would murder him. Jet Li's movies are better though and his style is nicer to look at. T1Oracle 11-30-2004, 11:55 AM They both did some Wushu, and Jet Li mastered it. He knows more than just the showy parts. Show doesn't win tornaments, and Jet Li dominated them. Few arts have as many techniques as Wushu, there's a lot of variety in it use. Mack Millie 12-01-2004, 04:16 AM Jet Li ain't shit to Jackie.Jackie actaully won kung fu tournament h shit.and jackie chan is reel not fake like jet li T1Oracle 12-01-2004, 11:55 AM ^ If you read the rest of the thread, you'd know that your opinion was already put down. Jet won plenty of tournaments. SMH... Mack Millie 12-01-2004, 02:59 PM ^^im just sayin Jackie Chan mastered da art but Jet Li is a fake T1Oracle 12-01-2004, 05:50 PM ^^im just sayin Jackie Chan mastered da art but Jet Li is a fake Yea, you're exactly wrong. Jet Li mastered his art, Jackie Chan is just an average joe in the martial art's world. Jet Li dominated Whushu tornaments. Read the thread, your facts are wrong. Someone already posted both of their martial arts records. Sike 12-03-2004, 07:27 AM I remembered that Jet Li once said that Jacky would win in a fight between them. Couldn't tell if he meant it or that he just said it out of respect of Jacky. Jacky is more street than Jet though. LILHOLOCAUST 12-14-2004, 02:56 PM jet an jackie r both good but if they were 2 fight jet would get jackie hands down Don_C 12-14-2004, 06:12 PM Jet Li, No Brainer. NeoLogik 12-14-2004, 10:00 PM I like Jackie Chan's kung-fu movies earlier in his career. It was the Chris Tucker collabo that lost my respect. Jet Li is tight but isn't as accomplished as Jackie Chan so therefore i gotta go with the Chan. Elemental 12-23-2004, 07:50 AM Jackie Chan for sure.... Just re-watch Druken Master... Its a classic... T1Oracle 12-23-2004, 10:44 AM Jackie is the better actor not fighter, their records reflect that. Elemental 12-23-2004, 10:48 AM Jackie is the better actor not fighter, their records reflect that. I agree... I was referring to movies.... I rather watch a Jackie Chan movie than Jet Li.... SpeakerBox 12-24-2004, 04:05 AM i like both movies but jet li would kick ass!!!!!!!!!!!! -- Ox E on ---- 01-09-2005, 06:36 PM fighting Bruce lee, between jacie and jet, li I would say Jet li jackie got lazy smoking with chris tucker plus the one was an ill flick Dirty Frank 02-06-2005, 09:04 PM Jet Li would fuck Jackie Chan up. Bruce Lee would fuck both of them up (even together) I would fuck the 3 of them up (yes all together) :D rufus 03-16-2005, 11:58 AM jet would beat jacki. i would rather watch a chan movie instead of jet , but jet would still win over chan..... bruce lee would walk on them like they aint shit |
