THESE ARE JUST SOME OF THE HITS BUMPED IN YA CAR, OR SPUN IN YA DISCMAN, OR DOWNLOAD ON YA MP3... DON'T FRONT!!!! JA HAS HELD IT DOWN FOR 4 ALBUMS STRAIGHT (SOON TO BE 5), AND HE'S ONLY GETTING STRONGER!!! SO ALL YA HATERS CAN SPEAK YA PIECE; BUT ALL THE ALBUM SALES, GRAMMY NOD'S, AND WRITING CREDITS SPEAK FOR THEMSELVES!
AND BEFORE YOU BIRDS START SQWAKIN, JUST REMEMBER WHO PUT ASHANTI ON THE MAP, WHO HELPED J-LO'S MUSIC CAREER TAKE OFF, WHO PUT CHRISTINA MILIAN ON THE MAP, WHO GOT MARY J. BLIGE A GRAMMY, AND WHO SINGLE HANDEDLY TOOK A BRAND NEW RECORD COMPANY OFF THE GROUND AND TO THE TOP.... JA RULE!!!
AAGP_PeeWee 07-18-2004, 02:43 PM datz kinda true
rj_989 07-18-2004, 03:41 PM I feel you! I have been a Ja hater since 50 but Now that I look at it......He is under rated.
biggd0gz 07-18-2004, 06:25 PM I appreciate the honesty! I need to make a correction though. Ja has put out 5 albums aready. This August he will be dropping his 6th... R.U.L.E.
Apollyon 07-18-2004, 06:56 PM Giving Ja props for album sales, helping J-Lo and helping Def Jam take off is like giving a cancer props for spreading.
*Toby* 07-18-2004, 07:08 PM "WHO PUT CHRISTINA MILIAN ON THE MAP"
Uhhhh That would be DISNEY my friend
U.D.D. 07-18-2004, 07:23 PM BUT ALL THE ALBUM SALES, GRAMMY NOD'S, AND WRITING CREDITS SPEAK FOR THEMSELVES!
um, ok. so...lets see....britney spears?!?! shud we give her props too?? fuck ja. youve got the same problem as him, your stuck on the material.
are nSync better than non phixion?? according to your analogy (album sales), the answer would be yes. oh you are so wrong.
Ludacris_069 07-18-2004, 07:29 PM I agree he is a little under rated but what can you do... But i do respect Ja
Tw!stEd 07-18-2004, 07:38 PM I would aggree that he is underrated, but <insert any rap name here(except 50cent ,g unit, murder inc label)> is better at rap, lyrically and vocally.
Tw!stEd 07-18-2004, 07:45 PM murder inc would be top, if death row, shady records, def jam, def jux, and every other label didn't exist...
and why are you even talking about murder inc on a rap forum, go to RnB or pop...
biggd0gz 07-18-2004, 07:57 PM Who put Christian Milian on the map as per hip hop and r & b, where she currently is trying to become successfull. Ja Rule!
biggd0gz 07-18-2004, 07:59 PM How ever you phrase it, "As cancer spreads", so is Ja's impact felt in whatever he does!
biggd0gz 07-18-2004, 08:02 PM I would answer that but I have no idea who non phixion is!!!
biggd0gz 07-18-2004, 08:03 PM All we can do is stand for what we believe in. thanks for the input.
biggd0gz 07-18-2004, 08:07 PM Give ya hottest line from any artist and I'll give a Ja line HOTTER!
biggd0gz 07-18-2004, 08:10 PM I Love it that you compare "The Inc", to All those other labels. Now think of how many artists and minor labels those major labels have under it... Now who does, The Inc really have that reppin in Hip Hop? Ja Rule, and yet you still mention them in the same sentence... thanx!
GraveDigga 07-18-2004, 08:22 PM fuck ja, he aint underated, hes perfectly rated, first album r the only good songs he had, a few out of the album, but he sucks now, i havent bumped a ja rule song ever since its murda, or grand finale...
*Toby* 07-18-2004, 08:31 PM didnt Christian Milian get her break on Disney like 5 years ago?
Apollyon 07-18-2004, 09:03 PM How ever you phrase it, "As cancer spreads", so is Ja's impact felt in whatever he does!Yes it is felt, because the second you hear "whatever he does", you tend to feel a sharp pain in your head and blood trickles out of your ears.
Yo Less 07-18-2004, 09:24 PM Holla Holla, Put it on me, Thug Lovin, Mesmerize, Between me and You, I Cry, Rainy Dayz, Clap Back, The Crown, R.U.L.E., Can I Get a, I'm Real, I'm Real (Remix), Down Ass Chic, The Pledge (Remix), Things Gone Change, And Always on Time!!!

Actually Ja Rule is overated as fuck, because whenever he produces anything marginally decent (his first album is a good example) the shock factor of it fools ignorant fucks like you into thinking he actually has talent.
Well news flash! Ja Rule sucks dick!!! Always has and always will. He rarely can rhyme words using more than one syllable, has no contextual divercity and an awfull voice. He’s hated on for a reason, cause he’s shit.
And how the fuck can you call bringing Ashanti into the busness a plus? Ashanti is a extremely shit, weak artist who relies entirely on her look and teenbopper support to get by. She has no vocal range whatsoever and can’t even hit notes, she’d probably have no lyrics if you removed the ‘oh’ and ‘baby’, Ashanti is a joke and a hype man for Murder INC’s untalented empire. Ja Rule isn’t underated, he’s one of the whackest commertial rap artists out there which really says something considering the airwaves is polluted by the likes of Nelly and J-Kwon.
biggd0gz 07-19-2004, 12:28 AM Nice to know that you've bumped a Ja album before! See this proves how versitale He is because the particular tracks you mentioned that you used to bump, I didn't like! I favored more towards the callabos (Yea the singing tracks). He has a little something for everybody. Not every artist out can say that. Thanks for the input.
biggd0gz 07-19-2004, 12:31 AM Yes, I believe she did! however getting ur break and getting launched into the mainstream are 2 diffrent things. Thanks for the input!
biggd0gz 07-19-2004, 12:34 AM Maybe thats why his last album was called "Blood in my eyes"? LOL! Thanks for the input. If you haven't felt anything he's put out yet... Stay tuned. He drops R.U.L.E. in August. I heard some tracks, and he's gonna put up some big numbers for sure. thanks for the input!
biggd0gz 07-19-2004, 12:43 AM Humm! Intresting points. Do me a favor name some of your favorite artists. If your not naming chart toppers and grammy winners then, get some real artists. It's funny how most of the people hating on Ja, perfer to listen to artist, not that much better than he is. Ja is not my favorite M.C. I'll admit that. But I respect the man, and recognize that he has talent... I'm not fooled. You may not feel the same, however "Ja sucks di*k"? Whats the point in that? Maybe Ja has stole the shine of your fav. artist or something? Get a grip kid!!!
Apollyon 07-19-2004, 01:01 AM Maybe thats why his last album was called "Blood in my eyes"? LOL! Thanks for the input. If you haven't felt anything he's put out yet... Stay tuned. He drops R.U.L.E. in August. I heard some tracks, and he's gonna put up some big numbers for sure. thanks for the input! Are you his best friend or something?
You seem to have a mental filter which doesn't allow you to see that the man is clearly awful. Don't you feel embarrassed playing his shit outside? And I'm not even talking about the inane cries of "IT'S MURDAHHHHH!!!!". Most of his tracks surround the concepts of being a generic wannabe thug/an emotional bitch (this aspect was thankfully absent from "Blood in my Eye" which was abysmal anyhow) or pathetic attempts to claw back shreds of credibility in the industry.
Ja Rule is a disgrace to the genre. He wouldn't know what substance or intellect were if they appeared to him in a vision writing the words "Hi! We're Substance and Intellect!" in flames in the sky. The only reasons he enjoyed any measure of success are the people who produced him, his stupid gimmick and his sing-song, yet brash voice. His next album is just going to put another nail in his coffin.
*Toby* 07-19-2004, 01:10 AM Lmao, I think it is Ja Rule himself.
U.D.D. 07-19-2004, 04:34 AM If your not naming chart toppers and grammy winners then, get some real artists.
your ignorant as fuck. that was a fucking stupid thing to say. youve lost any amount of respect i had for you. (which wasnt much anyway). your not hip-hop, your pop.
Tw!stEd 07-19-2004, 01:39 PM Shit as U.D.D points out, getting awards don't make you a good emcee, anyone cn buy an award. Biggdogz...this is a place for hip hop heads(I ain't one), not thirteen year old's who think Ja Rule is the nutz, because he appears on tv... talkin bout his bitches. You talk about better lyrics, go to the drops section, and you'll see lyrics that far surpass Ja Rules. Actually most rhymes in the freestyle/battle section beat his written stuff. You should try listening to real rap artist's, like people who don't need female vocallist's because their voice doesn't sound good enough. Imagion Ja Rule on his own, rapper over a beat, actually don't, it's torture. But listen to Eminem, Tupac, Nas, they don't reeally need any backing.
The next thing you should do on this forum, is ask people who they think are good, and listen to other stuff, more complex, more interlectual, and maybe you'll find out what rap is about.
amy_qb 07-19-2004, 02:17 PM Lmao, I think it is Ja Rule himself.
^^^^^^ Lol, true, true!!!!
biggd0gz 07-19-2004, 02:40 PM your ignorant as fuck. that was a fucking stupid thing to say. youve lost any amount of respect i had for you. (which wasnt much anyway). your not hip-hop, your pop.
I lost your respect... LOL! Who gives a F*ck? I'm not ignorant. I just have my own opinon on what music's hot and what's not. Your just blided by hate! I understand.
biggd0gz 07-19-2004, 05:35 PM Shit as U.D.D points out, getting awards don't make you a good emcee, anyone cn buy an award. I respect ya feed back... Trickster. You make some good points. but let me say something to everyone in this piece!!! Ja Rule is not my favorite Artist. He's not even in my top 5. However I like the music he puts out and I respect his accomplishments. Even before Ja came out, I've always been a fan of rap songs that feature vocalist. Like meth and mary J., or Nas and Laren Hill. I noticed a long time ago that these kind of songs usually blow up!!! I think that Ja Rule noticed this same thing and ran with it. Some might call it a lack of talent, I call it a smart move. 'Cause weather or not they admit it, every artist's first concern when entering the biz is to get paid!! And I'm sure this was his first concern also. So why hate on the man for finding an angle and running with it?? I say good for him.
Tw!stEd 07-19-2004, 06:44 PM Ok, I see the point about peeps being in the game for the money, but that can often lead to them putting their writing behind keeping up appearances, which can leads to worse song's. I used to listen heavily to comercial rap music, but have turned to dislike it, as i think the song's sound repetitive, and I found other styles that I like. Although I dislike Ja Rule now, and he is one of the worst rapper's in my opinion, I once used to listen to him. Then I found good lyricist's, and follow a few underground people, who cared about rap.
Out of interest, who are your top fiver rappers?
U.D.D. 07-19-2004, 08:06 PM Like meth and mary J., or Nas and Laren Hill..
HAH meth hasnt put out a good cd since tical! and mary J? fuck a mary j. lauren hill?? she doesnt want white people buying her shit...shes hardly a role model. she aint made anything good since fugees.
and yes man...u ARE ignorant. thinking grammys and album sales means an artist is good?? there is no other way to put it. your an idiot. the only thing ja's record sales tells us is that theres a million motherfuckers out there just as stupid as you. (cant remember what emcee said that, but it rings so true)
biggd0gz 07-19-2004, 08:20 PM Out of interest, who are your top fiver rappers?
In no particular oder...
Nas
Jay Z
Big Pun
Eminem
B.I.G.
I Follow some underground cats also. Ever heard of Immortal Technique or Red October??? By the way, I like debating with you... You actually make sense!
biggd0gz 07-19-2004, 08:21 PM HAH meth hasnt put out a good cd since tical! and mary J? fuck a mary j. lauren hill?? she doesnt want white people buying her shit...shes hardly a role model. she aint made anything good since fugees.

UDD... Who are your top 5???
U.D.D. 07-19-2004, 08:29 PM only people on that list that i agree are ill is nas and big pun. eminem used to be ill as the flu, back in the days when he was fuckin wit high and mighty. but oh my god do his production skills suck ASS.
tech is ill. i checked him out cos non phixion are the shit and hes on uncle howie records (started by...dun da dun...NON PHIXION)
jay-z is whack. u need to check out some real emcees, DESPERATELY.
diverse, little brother, murs, non phixion, copywrite, cage, talib kweli...
that would be a start. these artists are part of the world that is HIP-HOP.
and if you can handle brutal, well crafted rhymes, check out necro. also probably one of the hottest producers out there. period. dont belive me check all the beats on sabac and ill bills solo albums...yup...its all necro. mind u hes not a "serious" rapper, so dont expect a message in his rhymes, just expect horror movie style brutality, with a heavy dose of humour and crafty lyricism.
PS i make just as much fucking sense as trickster, u just hate on me cos im not gonna sugarcoat what i say to you. im not hatin on u, i just get real mad when i hear some stupid shit. dont say stupid shit, and we wont have a problem
biggd0gz 07-19-2004, 08:44 PM UDD... I hears ya! I don't want nor do I need suga coatin... Howevea you need to undastand that what makes your world turn isn't what makes mine turn and that's okay. Not once have I trashed you or ur opinions.. Why??? Because they are yours. Yea! you do make sense, and I like that you feel soo strongly, that means I'm not wastin my time, dealin with someone that don't give a f*ck. I'm gonna check out the cats you mentioned. By the way do you spit?
U.D.D. 07-19-2004, 08:47 PM nah i dont spit. i leave the lyricsm to those who can spit. but i spin, and let my hands do the talking. :)
biggd0gz 07-19-2004, 08:54 PM Thats hot! This will probably bug you out, but I am a artist... A Gospel Rap Artist! Just released an independant L.P. Last Winter!! AND Yes I consider myself a TRUE M.C.
U.D.D. 07-19-2004, 08:56 PM hook me up with some mp3s and ill return the favour by hookin u up with some freestyle juggles/scracthes
U.D.D. 07-19-2004, 09:03 PM oh my top 5...this is in no particular order, but here goes:
goretex
nas
necro
cage
err i cant think of a fifth, too many other rappers i like but none so much more than the other that it shud make it on my top 5 where another rapper wont...if u know what i mean. but those 4 i like more than anyone else. all for different reasons.
biggd0gz 07-19-2004, 09:24 PM Wow, ur really a under ground head huh? My boy X.L. is a undaground head also. He's rhymed with Immortal Technique and all those cats a this spot around my way called E.O.W. (End Of the Week), a local open mic spot.
U.D.D. 07-19-2004, 09:29 PM hah thats dope. im not an "underground head" as such, im a hip-hop head really. i own some "commercial" shit...what happens is if i hear an emcee on say a mixtape or on the net etc and i like it, ill check em out. i dont NOT listen to commercial stuff, i just listen to hip hop i feel. and i dont feel alot of the commercial cats. im always on the look out for new emcees. i cant get enough of hip hop.
biggd0gz 07-19-2004, 09:51 PM That's what's up. I guess I'm not as into the under ground stuff, 'cause it's not as easy to get my hands on... But don't get me wrong I love music with a point of view. ain't nothing like hearing a line that makes you think twice. ya heard!
Cra-Z 07-19-2004, 09:54 PM He was never under rated.
j8e5g 07-20-2004, 03:45 AM fuck that hes a fuckin homo tryin to act like pac, he aint no pac cant rap and is startin to sound pop
U.D.D. 07-20-2004, 05:43 AM That's what's up. I guess I'm not as into the under ground stuff, 'cause it's not as easy to get my hands on... But don't get me wrong I love music with a point of view. ain't nothing like hearing a line that makes you think twice. ya heard!

LOL. There is none. That's why it's funny.
Well, there is, kinda. It just mocks the generic religious superstition "God will do this if you're bad" and employing something almost everyone does (masturbation) and something traditionally cute (kittens). I think it's pretty nifty.
The first time I saw it, I cracked up laughing: http://www.drivingthedeathcar.com/sageadvice.jpg
Hmm...although necro is a good emcee, sometimes he goes to far over the top with his lyrics...There's being sick...then theres being necro...

http://www.darklyrics.com/lyrics/cattledecapitation/toserveman.html#1

And then there's being Cannibal Corpse, Cattle Decapitation and Cradle of Filth. :D
U.D.D. 07-20-2004, 03:03 PM Hmm...although necro is a good emcee, sometimes he goes to far over the top with his lyrics...There's being sick...then theres being necro...
hah yeah but thats what i like about him, hes fucking nuts. and at the end of the day its just lyrics. if i want a good laugh, some fat beats, and impressive wordplay, ill go for necro. lol.
Tw!stEd 07-20-2004, 04:56 PM I didn't mind him untill i heard the song "white slaves" ... and then i thought "ewww"
Tw!stEd 07-20-2004, 05:09 PM Apollyon, I read the first four lines of the first link....oh motherfucking dear *edit* ok read first and last, second link didn't come up fast enough. fist was evil..last werent to bad*.
I will go quite far in my lyrics, but rape is something i will rarely use...
while retarded acquaintances get fist fucked and raped
This was the necro one that got me. Made my ass cringe.
U.D.D. 07-20-2004, 06:41 PM yeah that was one of ill bills lines. him and bill are rapping ABOUT the seedy things that go on in life, not glorifying it. sometimes u gotta be shocking to get the point across. i dont get offended by much tho cos its just words. but man white slavery is such a phat beat. bill kills on it. he always does! "your dead" is also a CLASSIC ill bill and necro track.
Apollyon 07-20-2004, 08:08 PM Apollyon, I read the first four lines of the first link....oh motherfucking dear *edit* ok read first and last, second link didn't come up fast enough. fist was evil..last werent to bad*.Heh, Cannibal Corpse are the masters of that stuff. "Entrails Ripped From A Virgin's Cunt" is my personal favorite. By comparison, Cradle's light relief.
But yeah, Necro's pretty extreme for rap. "You're Dead" is indeed awesome.
rikaSHAY 07-21-2004, 02:38 AM Thank God everyone got off the gospel rap/Ja Rule subject.
Yeah, those were some fucked up songs... I mean they were bad...
*Goes onto KaZaA as fast as possible*
Rap Chyld 07-21-2004, 03:49 PM good for him i still dont like him never have
U.D.D. 07-23-2004, 01:33 PM necro? hes one of the most underrated and hardest working rappers around. but yeah its not everyone's sorta shit.
phatrabbitxx 08-27-2004, 12:53 AM who cares about that thing he had wit 50, he still sucks cant rap for shit! best rappers alive are luda, jay z and busta!
T-Nice 08-27-2004, 06:31 PM r u serios?, u think the best rappers alive r lda jigga and busta?, u tellin me they r betta than pac rakim and B.I.G, no beef i just think u crazy if u think they r betta then them
