It seems as if enough people here play Halo. So when you're playing, especially against friends, what is you favorite gun to use?

Mine would have to be the Needler.. The shots fired seem to follow your target much more closely and can get his/her down faster.. You only need a quick headshot with the shotgun though..

shot gun is hell at close range but the sniper rifle and pistol are my dogs

Halo 1 my fav. gun would def. be the pistol. the scope and compromise of strength and speed makes it the best all around weapon for me. But i was dissapointed in Halo 2 when i saw that the pistol sucks ass. In Halo 2 i like the carbine, battle rifle, and shotty of course.

Covenant Carbine, battle rifle, fuel rod cannon.

^^^^I dont think you can use that in Multiplayer though. And i hate the fact that its so weak in Single Player.

Shotgun-The range on this thing is unreal, especially on Halo 1. But its that one hitta quitta and its a bitch.

Brute Shot-This I call the Terminator gun because it looks like something right out of Ahlnold's ass. It's gotta vicious ricochet (GOD I dont think i spelled that word correctly) good from long range and at close range you're less likely to commit suicide with it.

Rocket Launcher-The weapon of all weapons. All you have to do is shoot at something near your opponent (wall, floor, rock, etc.) and the blast alone will kill them.

It sounds like all you guys do is play the regular slayer games. You know you can create your own with w/e weapons you wanna. Put it on invisible and take off them damned over shields for that "one-a-gone" action.

Me & my Boys play somethin (even in Halo 1) all the time we like to call Karnage. Its all invisible, with no overshields, no shields, and 50% health. Basically, you dead if a rocket remotely close to you.

Best levels are .............. Hang em High and Prisoner. Battle Creek is eh. (Halo 1)

Zanzibar, Coagulation, and Headlong (Halo 2)

Whats funny is all my friends and I also have another favorite custom mode, which is the exact opposite. We do camoflauged with 50% health no shields, and all snipers and beam rifles. This is THe FUNNEST THING EVER in Hang em High, which is not matched even in Halo2. Anyone have any suggestions on where to play the Snipers game i just described in Halo 2?
