Do you think Blacks would be better off giving up on the struggle for equality and Economic self-suffiecny and the "Community" menatlity?

I can't call it personally as a Latino,i say we have the same fucking problems I say those things Cosby mentioned are problem of poor people wordwide.

I say Respect for individuality is the key to success.I don't see how the goverment or some in-house black "movement" or even another Martin or Malcom will solve the problems of 40 million black people.

You don't see Latinos/Jews/or even other Blacks..africans and West Indians..addressing each other problems to the point of stereo-typing each other or do you? ..lol..it's like you go here and you get blocked cuz the white people fear you and then you go home and you have to fit the criteria of Blackness.

But the most vocal ones and alot of black leaders say shit like that and justify affirmative action and demand reperations and all that..I agee with you i don't really see a TRUE problem.

No one can legally hold you down anymore so you can't blame whitey all the time unless you have proof or some white cop smacked the shit of you or some shit.

Plus there are countless immigrant groups who come here with no money,education,and no papers and can't even speak the fucking language and in 5 years these people are up and out the hood.

Yet many blacks,who are born as US CITIZENS and are born into the greatest and strongest country in the history of the world still graze the grass and complain constantly about the goverment...it don't work like that in a capitilist country....you sit and wait for a handout,you'll die from starvation.

Like I said that's only a few cats and many Latinos also that say and think shit like that.I believe in Individuality..no one is repsonsible for someone else..get rid of that burden...

It's not even about that it's a small group that has those issues and those same things can be attributited to poor people of any color,feel me?

I'm talking about the economic issues of SOME blacks neighborhoods..there should be improvement there.I'm not saying blacks should own Coca-Cola or NBC or some shit.

After slavery,Jim Crow,Crack,Reagan,and AIDS ,there would have to be alot of catching up to do an it would be almost impossible for a minority of color to be equal in regards to income to in a white country...BUT there should better numbers there.

There should be a lot less poverty in the community.
