Tim Duncan won the NBA MVP for the second straight year. Im mad at that. I mean I think either KG or Kobe Bryant should have won MVP. Duncan hasn't done anything new for his team. KG lead his team to the Playoffs and it was kind of a surprise. KG also made a whole lot of double doubles and stuff. Kobe broke NBA records like wit 3 Pointers, 9 games with 40 points or more(didn't break a record, but brought back the real meanin of basketball). Also, T-Mac lead his team to the Playoffs by himself and was NBA leading scorer with Kobe at second. So why is Tim Duncan the MVP winner this year??!!!!! This doesn't make any since!! Whoeva voted for him must have been hatin on KG, Kobe, or T-Mac

Put T-Mac vs Kobe and i think T-Mac would dominat Kobe so badly. in my opinion T-Mac is an all around player. Offense, assists, defense, everythnig needed gets provided. i haven't seen many incredible Kobe defensive plays but i dont watch many lakers games cause i hate them. I think T-Mac deserved MVP. Hes on prolly the worst team that amde the playoffs, lead the league in scoring, average pts per game, and took a horrible team to the playoffs on his shoulders with next to NO help. T-Mac shoulda won easily.

nah I still think tha kobe is betta than T-Mac... And he should had won tha MVP this year...

T-Mac is not on the worst teams. Armstrong is a nasty player and even that young Center they have is pretty good. If you watch Kobe, he passes the ball around at the beginning of the game and then starts playing when they need em. T-Mac maybe doesn't realize that his team mates can do somethin for the team. Also, T-Mac didn't break any records like Kobe did. And Kobe has better dribble and faster dribble than T-Mac

This argument will go on and on, but lemme say why I think T-Mac is the best player in the NBA besides Shaquille O'neal.

Tracy McGrady's supporting cast includes Darrel Amstrong who is a streaky player who has an inconsitent jump shot. He is the energy man, a pest on the defensive end. Gordon Giricek is a rookie, with a lot of potentail, but lacks strength on the defense and being able to create for himself consistently. Pat Garrity, perhas the only half consistent outside shooter on the Magic, isn't even that consistent. Drew Gooden has flashes of a low post game, but really is too small in my opinion, and he needs to develop the ability and mindset to make the big rebounds down the stretch. McGrady is the lone factor on the Magic. No one else is even worried about. McGrady almost beat the Pistons by himself! His teamates shot 29%. Kobe has luxury around him. He benefits very much from Shaq. When teams double shaq, Kobe will get the ball from swinging around the defensive rotation, provinding easy seams. Derek Fisher and Rick Fox are very capable three point shooters, experience players, and team players. Not to say Kobe cannot create for himself one and one, because defintily he can, but you better believe teams think twice before leaving Fisher and Fox on the perimeter. Kobe's teamates hit their shots much more consistently and frequently than McGrady's and that opens up many things.... Not to mention the pure fact that Shaq is a plain beast on the offensive boards. Garrity and Shawn Kemp aren't going to pull down anything. McGrady scores with much more ease in my opinion. When he plays, its such a beautifu flow - he doesn't even break a sweat.

Its right that Kobe quite possibly will never win a MVP award due to Shaq, and perhaps, that is rightfully so. MVp stands for Most Valuable Player, not Player of the Year or Best Player of the Year, though - many times the person chosen is both. One thing to take into account is that Los Angeles recieves immense media attention and that always plays a factor. No one really cares for the Magic or the Wolves. If someone asked me what would be the first player I'd take in the NBA, the answer would be Shaq...and then Tracy McGrady. In a nutshell, McGrady's length, athleticism, and his sleepy eye - just do it for me.

Um, let me correct you there. The Lakers sqaud is not the best shooters. I mean Kobe can rack some points and also Shaq. Now Fisher score, but Rick Fox has a nack for missing shots(including important ones), Robert Horry is aging and he losing his touch. So it's not like Kobe has luxury. Sometimes Kobe has to win the game by himself even when Shaq is on the floor.
