ONLY Because It Was Da Start Of "Jigga"... Da 'Commercial Version' Of Jay-Z... It's Still A Tight LP, But After Dat One He Began Droppin' Bangers... I Feel All Jay-Z's LP's, Dough... Niggas Gotta Be Real Good Listeners & Be Good @ Deciphering Lyrics In-Order To Take Jigga For All He's Worth... He's A Great MC... Trillz Slick Siva 12-22-2004, 07:46 PM All of his albums are classics D-Illar-1 12-23-2004, 12:43 PM I Say "In My Lifetime, Vol. 1"... He's A Great MC... Trillz Actually, his Jigga start was Vol. 3...In My Lifetime, he was still tryna put the ROC out there and move out of Jaz's shadow. Reasonable Doubt, Vol. 1 and Vol. 2 were all classics to me. Vol. 3 was pretty decent/good. Dynasty was decent. Blueprint= The best album in this millenium so far. Blueprint 2/2.1= Decent. Black Album= Pretty sick and a good way to close out a great career. And now that I've posted, a Nas dickrider is gonna hop all over this thread. Hawk 01-14-2005, 12:35 PM I only got 2.1 Black album and Reasonable doubt, there all tight. Da 'Jigga' Start Was Back On Vol. 2.. He Mentioned It In Da 'Hard Knock Life' TRK.. "..stretch da name out, extra name out.. put 'jigga' on top.. to drop albums non-stop for ya', niggas.." ..& It Was On Vol. 1 Whurr He Started Dat 'Pop'-Soundin' Shit.. Dat Joint Wit' Lil' Kim & P. Diddy (Then, 'Puff Daddy').. & Dat 'Sunshine' Cut Wit' Fox-Boogie.. He Was Solid, Dough.. It's Hard To Define His 'Worse' Album Cause All His LPs Have Nice & Meaningful TRKS.. I Said Vol. 1 Was His 'weakest' Cause Dat's Da Last One I'd Listen To, If Left A Choice.. Yeah, Dough.. My Opinion.. Trillz Special-K 01-22-2005, 11:53 PM idk i'd have to say his worse album was the best of both worlds 2. that shits was pretty wack i wasnt feelin that at all. but other than that i can't pick a bad one. even his MTV unplugged one was hot. D-Illar-1 01-23-2005, 04:33 AM ^ Actually, Again.. Da 'Jigga' Start Was Back On Vol. 2.. He Mentioned It In Da 'Hard Knock Life' TRK.. He was calling himself Jigga in most of the tracks, come to think about it. And Vol. 1 was like half/half. Of course he had the weak tracks Sunshine and the Boys Like/Girls Like joint but think about all the other good tracks. A Million and One Questions Rap Game/Crack Game Streets Is Watching Real Niggas Man Of The Night Other than those first two tracks I said, that was a super album. Those other two brouhgt it down just a little bit. N17 M@N 01-23-2005, 08:25 AM jay z worst album is blueprint 2 gift & the curse Yukmouth 06-15-2005, 12:24 PM The Blueprint was his worst from what I've heard of his collection. I haven't listened to Reasonable Doubt or 2.0/1 but would like to. Dynasty's intro is the best on the whole cd I think. On Vol 1 the gutter beat when he starts it of by saying "I was rocking platinum when all y'all thought it was silver and shit" is my favorite song of his I'm pretty sure. My Opinion.. Trillz From Vol. 1 he referred to himself as jigga Im not sure before that but it's just another nickname he probably always had. and that quote is: "stretch the game out, X ya name out, wit Jigga on top, drop albums non stop for ya." I only have vol. 2 and 3 now cause I lost the first one. both those ones are pretty equal to me, he has some really stand out verses on the 3'rd on I like. SYmBiOTe 06-24-2005, 11:34 PM the black album.. -+DanGLeS+- 06-25-2005, 08:34 AM yes jay z is sickness even his work with linkenpark was sick i have all his albums but true dis linken parks rappers beter then jay z Nickel 07-03-2005, 01:55 PM This is how i place all of Jay-Z cds in order Reasonable Doubt (Classic shit. only thing that could compare was either Illmatic or Life After Death) The Blueprint LP (I think that this was the best release, besides Stillmatic, to come out in 2001) In My Lifetime Vol. 1 (Great way to follow up Reasonable Doubt) Vol. 3: Life and Times of S. Carter (second best in the Volumes) The Black Album (Great way to end his career) Vol. 2: Hard Knock Life (Show his commercial side) The Blueprint 2: The Gift and The Curse (Great Double Disc, great collabortors) The Dynasty Roc La Familia (His personal worst, more along the lines of a Mixtape) Pariah Liberal 07-04-2005, 12:05 AM personelly i dont like jay he is a pretty good rapper i just dont like his style but his last album was pretty sick specialy the accapela version shah90 07-04-2005, 03:25 PM reasonable doubt and blueprint were his best one's... Dynamik 07-15-2005, 11:27 PM my order--greatest to least resonable doubt--best ever blueprint--pure classic by everyone vol. 3--liked the songs and introduced new lyrics vol. 2--not that bad--went platinum x5 vol. 1--first album of his i heard so i still like it blueprint 2--the parents wuz tight as hell black album--coulda done alot better too commercial vol. 4--dynasty--pure crap best of both worlds--how u gonna collab witta rapist?? prankster198 07-16-2005, 02:50 PM im agreein wid most of y'all that he hasnt had a weak album DJ C4 08-04-2005, 08:02 PM vol 2. hard know life Lay Doubt 08-23-2005, 01:14 AM worst one eva............................ the one he ussed his own lyrics on CRUGER 08-23-2005, 12:15 PM worst one eva............................ the one he ussed his own lyrics on LMAO, Nice One Dopeman 09-03-2005, 05:26 PM Did someone say that Blueprint was one of the worst, oh my god, its his best by a long shot. Reasonalble Doubt, Blueprint and The black album are my best albums i've ever bought. The rest of his albums were all very good bar a couple, in my lifetime vol 2 is one. Jigga's one of the best ever! Lou Cypher 02-08-2006, 02:09 PM Dynasty...The Worst Hayzoos 02-15-2006, 11:34 PM the blueprint 2 was THE WORST jay-z album ever. how could he even put the name blueprint on it after droping a classic like bluprint? Hayzoos 02-15-2006, 11:37 PM the dynasty wasnt really a jay-z album, it was more of a promotion cd for the rest of roca fella artists, hence the name the roc la familia H_O_V 02-23-2006, 05:30 PM I hated the Curse more than the Gift. Best of Both Worlds was garbage. |Negative NrG| 03-19-2006, 01:27 AM first of all, He had the nickname Jigga when he dropped reasonable doubt, its mentioned on "aint no" "Brooklyns finest", and they also mention it on "I love the dough" which was on LAD, now back to the main topic In my oppinion,Jay comes straight with every album he drops ........I would have to save, Blueprint² is his worst album, however.....that album has alot of nice tracks aswell *Ethereal* 03-25-2006, 02:01 AM He looks like a camel, and thats bad enough. and yes, blueprint is horrible. FiRON 04-07-2006, 11:42 PM any album between "Resonable Doubt" and "Black Album" -+ATL+- 04-08-2006, 12:19 AM im not really feeling jay-z either, the Blueprint 2 was probabaly the worst though .majiK™ 04-08-2006, 12:24 AM Alotta people wud disagree wit me but i say dat Black Album is his worst...
