they all suck? you need to have your ears checked

you may not like his style, but that don't mean the albums "suck"

Its Dark & Hell is Hot is a rap classic

nah he ain't the best lyricist out there but he don't pretend to be

one of the reasons i like his music so much is cause he keeps it real

he raps about stuff that means shit to him... he's a deep rapper you just gotta give his songs a few listens an try to figure it out

DMX is rarely deeper than kill, rob, and fight. Slipping was his deepest song, and from there he slipped. The only nice thing about him as a rapper, is his emotion in delivery which really livens up the music and makes you want to follow it even if the lyrics are simple. Unfortunately his lack of depth, his need to be real instead of creative, and his stupidy (why are you jacking cars X?) pretty much ruin the fun. He wasn't interesting since his second album. Recite some of his classic lines out loud, that stuff is silly, whack as ever.
DMX: "When you see me spit at you, you know I'm trying to get rid of you, yea I know it's pittiful"

From what I've heard, he knew that he was just going be just a fad artist anyway.

Yeah he is rarely deep. But when he is, he makes damn good songs. for example:

A minute for your son father
A'yao Kato
The Rain

Rarely deep? DMX has more deep songs than the majority of other rappers. Compare him to Dre, Wu Tang, Canibus etc. and you can see that he was much deeper. Here's a list off the top of my head of his deep songs:

Slippin
Ready To Meet Him
I Miss You
A'yo Kato
I Can Feel It
Let Me Fly
Look Thru My Eyes
plus many others I'm sure.

Best album = Its Dark And Hell Is Hot without doubt
