View Full Version : A moment of silence for the victims of the earthquake
truestunna14 12-28-2004, 10:23 AM Its a horrible thing, I feel wrong saying this but I am glad it did not happen here in America. Lets all remembe the 44,000 people that have been confirmed dead so far I will be praying for the missing, wounded and family members of the victims.*silent*
snowwizza 12-28-2004, 10:38 AM **silence**
Multiplaxed, 12-28-2004, 10:52 AM Word Man.. It's amazing how no-one actually knows about this, the victims are way more than the Twin Towers and yet the impact isn't even quarter of it.. there are way more than 44,000 people , there was 80,000 in one single country alone...
truestunna14 12-28-2004, 11:03 AM My bad, sorry about the miscalculation of people. *rants about the stupidness of Yahoo*
Elldawg 12-28-2004, 11:21 AM yea... this shit was crazy.. they even said that it fucked with the earths rotation.. and had the impact of 1 million A-bombs... i feel for those ppl who lost loved 1s over there
BkBrawla 12-28-2004, 10:27 PM Yea, this is terrible ...that goes to tell ya, that we complain about the little things of life..while other places around the countries are suffering....smh..*moment of silence*..
BusterHymen 12-28-2004, 11:08 PM yep i wish the best for the family and friends
T1Oracle 12-28-2004, 11:50 PM All I've heard was 21,0000. Anyway acts of nature have a very different nature from the intentional acts of people. It's a very sad occurence though. *silence* Most didn't even get a warning. Nature is powerful, and it's even more devastating when it catches the wrong places by surprise.
T1Oracle 01-05-2005, 12:19 PM Those fundamentalists are crazy. Now they claim that US nukes created the wave... That's beyond retarded, the point of origin isn't under US control, and was very close to people. If you exploaded that many atom bombs (it would take quite a few) the amount of radiation and light given off would be anything but stealthy. Electronic equipment nearby would have fried off of the eltromagnetic pulse, and every foreign government in the area would know what just happened. Atom bombs are not clean, and they are not covert either.
And what's up with the tale that Arabs don't want to send more money to tsunami victims in fear that "infidels" would get a hold of it? I thought...
Islam tells us that we should respect people of other religions
I understand having hate for the US, but how could you take it that far? That's crazy. The tsumani victims have nothing to do with America. Except for that fact that we are helping them recover.
NFURNO 01-05-2005, 12:39 PM my homie's from thailand....and he hasnt heard back from his family....shits hard....we're feeling the impacts in america too.....
*Lady_K* 01-05-2005, 01:08 PM i think its disguisting that even now there are people going round collecting all the children who are lost or ophaned and selling them on the internet as there own personal child sex slaves- one site had 300 children on it

Yeah I Was Gettin Ready To Say That...Theres A Big Difference Between Acts Of Terrorism And Forces Of Nature And Another Thing Why The Fuck Didn't The International Meteorologists Or Scientists See This Coming? We Have Fuckin Seismac Radars!! As Far As Arabs Not Wantin To Give Money In Fear Of Westerners Gettin A Hold Of The Money...I Havent Heard That But It's Understandable...Cuz Lets Be Honest, The U.S. Has A Hand In Everything...Think About It, You're An American...You Want To Donate To Orphans In Afghanistan Or Somethin But You Get Hesistant Cuz There Is A Risk Of Terrorists Gettin The Money You Sent And The Last Thing You Wanna Do Is Fund Al-Qaeda Right? Well The Last Thing Middle Eastern People Want Is For Our Government To Have MORE Funding To Come And Kill Their People. Anyway Back To The Tsunami Victims - We Started A Collection At School And I Suggested A Model Competition To Raise Funds For Donations, That Includes Swimsuit & Lingerie And The Principal Is Actually Considering It, LMAO.
*Moment Of Silence*

I said Islam. Not all Islamic people are the same. What the Arabs do has nothing to do with Islam religion. Just because they are Islamic, people assume that all their actions are related to their religion. Why is it no one assumes this with the 100's of Christian serial killers and mass murderers? Then they realize that not all people are the same. But one fucking Islamic country does some stupid shit and automatically every one of us are evil? Fuck off with your stupid reasoning.
Anyway, about this, I havn't heard shit about an earthquake. Of course I also don't watch TV or listen to the radio, so yeah. All I've heard was some shit about a Tsunami. You want to hear something really fucked up that I also heard? There was this man there who saved this woman just so he could rape her.
H_O_V 01-11-2005, 09:17 AM silence..................ok back to the real world.

Agree that people judge the whole of the Islamic faith by the actions of a few extremists, I was arguin with my man about it just the other night. Also agreed that the East has every reason to fear Americas forceful hand, cos lets face it America is out to profit itself, it aint a fuckin carin generous nation n it aint to make the world a better place, its out to make America so dominant that ITS safe no matter what the world comes to...
Oh and Tsunamis are caused by underwater earthquakes, this particular one hittin 8.9 - 9.0 on the richter scale, thats a fuckin monster...
God be with the victims, we had our 3 minutes silence the other day

I mentioned it mainly since "Infidel" is a religious term. I don't get why there must be a words to describe all non-followers of a specific religion. "Infidel", "Shiksa", all those words are the product of hate. Government officials shouldn't use them.
well last i heard was 124,000 people...God Bless and RIP to all those who lost their lives..
yeah.....this is something....i was over in germany when it happened and its covered all over the news....when i get to america its less scarce and there is alot less talk about it...... its horrible :(

silence. we must learn to open our eyes...people suffer so much more than we do...and we complain about it here in the states, we need to break down the barriers and unify as one global community.
amen.

_VoKaLZ_ 01-28-2005, 12:57 PM A terrible tragedy, one we must not forget or push aside. Kinda makes you wonder how any sorta god would let somethin like this happen...
D^Coy 01-28-2005, 01:10 PM Some have actually thought that Bush created the Tsunami to get the media's attention AWAY from the war that's going on right now. But lets not talk about that, considering some still think Bush had knocked down the towers. What's really on my mind is the Tsunami song that was played on Hot 97 a few days ago. That song pushed freedom of speech past any song I've ever heard. I don't feel like puttin the link to the song anywhere on this site because it isn't worth hearing. But y'all can hear what Jin had to say....
