Royce-Death is Certain (Kind of a let down but better than most)

Cant name anymore, there are others that could go on but aren't really worthy of bein classed as the 'best' of 2004... Jadakiss album for example, pretty decent but not worthy of best anything, same with Kanye, decent, not best.. In fact Banks is lucky to be up there

Worst 2 albums Ive heard are Encore and D12 World, ugh, and the Snoop album

Haha, College Dropout is one of the worst? It's better than Legacy of Blood and New Danger. And the production shits over the Beautiful Struggle.
Hunger for More one of the worst? It's just as good as Tical 0 and Kiss Of Death. The Black Album was 2003, shows how much you know

Anyways, my list:
1: Madvillain - Madvillainy
2: Ill Bill - What's Wrong With Bill
3: Royce Da 5'9 - Death Is Certain
4: HBMS - White People
5: MF Doom - MM...Food
6: Masta Ace - A Long Hot Summer

^College dropout was one of the worst, simply because it had the possibly the worst lyrics you can ever imagine, and those 7 worthless skits trying to stop kids from going to college. How are you going to be a conscience or w/e rapper when you're trying to tell kids say fuck college. Plus his lyrics were incredibly wack, name one good verse from Kanye.

Hunger For More was such a dissapointment and the least creative CD you could possibly make. It was so dull, the same flow on every track, you could tell 50 was all over that shit, cause it was too boring. Lloyd Banks being the mixtape artists of the year, i thought would at least come up wit an album that was worth while, face it, that album was shit.

it woz da other way round 4 me, i was ecspecting the worst from hunger 4 more but it woz actually quite good, Playboy, I Get High, I'm So Fly, Warrior, Pt. 2 r all good songs

and as 4 collage drop out, i'm sorry but THAT IS A FUCKING GOOD ALBUM and my fav rapper is Immortal Technique, 1 of da best lyracisists and i love that album, lyracs aint 2 bad and da guest apperiences make up 4 some of his wack lyracs, but der r some classic songs on there and if da 1s he brought out on vidio wasn't played out think about how good dey were wen dey 1st come out. i dont care what n e 1 says, THAT IS A BRILLIANT ALBUM

Those Vinnie Paz braglines ain't great lyrics either so I don't see how JMT is better  besides Jesus Walks is dope

Lloyd Banks did had the same flow on every song but that means he can keep his style even though he has to work with other producers ;) And Banks drops hot punchlines, the productions are perfect, Til The End is still a dope song, nothing wrong with that album.

One good line off of College Dropout? How about "Mayonnaise colored Benz, I push Miracle Whips" that is going to be a classic.

Lookin back at the responses.. 2004 was a pretty wack year for rap

(Joe Budden was 2003 for the guy above)

Last year made me realise more than ever what was already brewing inside me; I fuckin hate commercial rap.. Nas is the only artist still sellin that seems capable of diversifying his style (Budden is actually a breath of fresh air), the rest are either selling cos they're puppets to the industry or they ignored cos they're different..

Tell you a good album from 2k4 tho, Papoose - Beast from the East
