If they pull people in, it might be a tie.

If they go one on one, Cass will get his career ended. Just like Jaz-o and Nas..

Any MC trying to make a name for himself should go at Jay-Z. Jay-Z is just prime for the picking. An overrated MC with a lot of fame and no battle skills.

Lol, don't under-estimate Jay-Z Lol. It'll be close, but cass specializes in battling so he'll pull out with the win.

......The basis of you saying that is???

Jaz-O's diss to Jay-Z made Jigga look like a fuckin backstabbin money grabbin punk n Ether justmade Jay look like a schoolboy, if anythin the Nas/Jay-Z beef thrust Nas back into the spotlight n helped him re-establish himself as THE King of New York.. The Jaz-O/Jay-Z beef brought Jaz-O more attention than he'd probly ever had, so in effect, beefin with Jay-Z is actually A GOOD CAREER MOVE

"I will not lose for even in defeat there's a valuable lesson learned so it evens it out for me"

^^^Good to see Jigga can admit defeat though, unlike his fans

Dissect that line, he basically said, even if you make it out that I lose, I still win. I must admit, the Jaz-O diss was nice, but Marcyville was enough to crush Jaz. And Jay only spat like 6 bars on it. It was Bleek who did all the damage. Superugly? 'Nuff said...

Line dissected, Jay knew he'd lost, it went to a poll on Hot 97, plus the unanimous decision on the streets and most of all; the crippling fact that even Jigga cant deny, Ether fucking murdered Takeover

Neva heard Jays reply to 'Ova' so I wouldn't know about that one, Ova was a real nice diss though

SuperUgly, I love this one, cos.. This was Jay 'Freestyle' response to Ether right? Now who the fuck gives a preview of their next 'Freestyle' in a song released months before???

"You now who, did you know what, with you know who, lets keep that between me n you (for now)"

And the focal point of SuperUgly? You know yourself

Nas emphatically murdered Jigga n even he knows it

Oh yea, my bad, cos Blueprint2 was a classic HAHAHA

Stillmatic, Gods Son, Streets Disciple, tell me how they're under par? We all know Jay-Z has mad respect for Nas, he fears him man... Only a weak as fuck rapper would wait til Nas was at his lowest point (Post I am.. & Nastradamus) to attack him.. And only a dumb fuck like Jay-Z would show just how much Nas gets under his skin by making half of his TITLE TRACK dedicated to him, who the fuck makes their title track aimed at their biggest rival? Someone on the defensive

Super Ugly was nothin special, you obviously dont know much about Jay-Z if you think it was schoolyard disses, the shit about Un, Foxy, Eminem, Biggie Rocafeller its all true... And if you look closely at Jay, he does bear resemblance to a camel..

Listen to Takeover and Ether back-to-back, Jigga was wise not to even try comin back.. Thats lyrical murder in four minutes and thirty four seconds

"I will not lose for even in defeat there's a valuable lesson learned so it evens it out for me"

Just what is the lesson Jigga? PLAY YOUR POSITION AND DONT TAKE SHOTS AT THE TOP

Actaully, Takeover= Blueprint...Blueprint was when he started being called the GOAT...And get off of Nas's dick. Jay has made more good albums than Nas has made period.

Let's see. Nas made Illmatic, which was ill. But then It Was Written, I Am, Nastradamus, Stillmatic, God's Son, Street's Disciples...

Jay made Reasonable Doubt, In My Lifetime, Hard Knock Life, Blueprint, and the Black Album was classic.

Stillmatic was garbage. Three good songs. God's Son, one good song(Get Down), even dedicated Nas fans said that Street's Disciple was weak. Be serious. I'm done discussing it. Jay-Z= Better than Nas. Every underground head and mainstream head not involved with the beef would rather have Jay on their side than Nas any day.

Wipe your mouth son you're talking shit

Jay might as well not have existed from Reasonable Doubt upto Blueprint.. Everybody knows that the streets are with Nas, n that includes the underground heads... I Am and Nastadamus are his only weak albums, n I Am had some hot tracks... How could I be on Nas' dick when Cormegas my favourite rapper? Look at Takeover compared with A Slick Response man, thats how you diss someone... Ive got money stacks bigger than you is not a good line... Kidnap ya baby spit at ya lady, is not a good line... I was referring to the opening diss of the beef being on a clasisc album, because weren't we speaking on that? And title tracks? Nas mentioned Jay in Disciple(off of the album Street's Disciple)..So what? Jay mentioned Jaz-O and Nas because they were trying to run a double team type of thing by dissing him at the same time. And the sad thing is Takeover wasn't fully addressed at Nas and still ripped him. Mobb Deep got it and Jaz got it also.

And streets with Nas? LMAO. My boy is from Far Rockaway and he said NO ONE IN QUEENS likes Nas.

Bullshit, the streets crowned Nas the King, Jay is a commercial puppet

And Nas simply mentions Jiggas name, this is not fifty this is not jigga this is not diddy etc... N what you talkin about 'Double Teamed' him sure the guy got raped but not literally, Nas went at Jay cos Jay went at Nas... I see you're a massive Jigga fan so this argument aint goin nowhere, but anyone with even the slightest knowledge of hip hop can see Ether dissected Jay limb from limb

EDIT: Referring to your opening line; I was talking about the TITLE TRACK off Blueprint2, not the opening track off Blueprint

wat is this not given Jay credit cuz he's commercial being commercial is a testament to how good he iz cuz he pimped tha system and still had da streets jus listen on moment of clarity "I dumbed down for my audience to double my dollars hey criticized me for it yet they all yell holla" jus cuz he did dis don't make him a sell out make him a smart businessman the truth is jay-z and nas are both nice but jigga varies his lyrics more and his wordplay is better so he's in my eyes he's a better lyricist.

You said Takeover=Blueprint but I was talking about Blueprint2 off Blueprint2..

"When the grass is cut the snakes'll show, I gotta thank the homie Nas for that though"

Think we kinda got it mixed up

UNCLEFACE: Your opinions your opinion n I aint gonna argue over it, but Jay-Z didn't "Pimp da system" he made music that he knew the majority of candy bar rap fans would buy, to me that is a sell-out... N you say he varies his lyrics, yeah to the extent where he's talkin about his love of girls in one tune n how big of a pimp he is in the next... Nas is probably the most versatile rapper there is, his styles constantly changin from album to album but its always meaningful material... As for wordplay Jay does have some awesome wordplay, both do, but Id say Nas can hold down a metaphorical sense for longer than Jay, Jiggas are more quotable lines n catchy punches whereas Nas goes for the whole poetical sense...

We all got our opinions, mine is that Nas is far better than Jay was is or ever will be

Reasons for beefing: Cassidy's first single was Hotel ft. R.Kelly, R.Kelly went on tour with Jay-Z but left half way through which caused a beef between teh two, now Kels is makin Cassidy fight his battles for him.

The linez you stated...Jay-Z freestyle'd......so really...what can you say?

And keep in mind......Takeover was freestyled...and delivered on stage Live...and still was above par. It took Nas bout a month or two....to analyze and proof read his shyt...THEN put it out.

My respect goes to Jay-Z....

No no, listen son you're missing the point

Ether, Murdered-Jay (sorry for the pun)

And the Stillmatic freestyle wasn't exactly below par, Jays a better freestyler than Nas no doubt, but then I know unsigned artists better at freestylin than Jay, so that donesn't really mean jack shit, does it.

I'll say it one last time for those who are struggling to take it in, Ether, murdered, Jigga... There is no room for discussion

It depends on the discerning's definition of the term "freestyle."

Dat's True Jay-z Is Much Older Than Cass And Therefore Has More Experience In The Game- Cass Could Almost Bet Jigga But It Would Very Very Be Close.
