Basically, me and my cousins like to buy older cars and hook 'em up. I purchased a fuckin' 1990 Honda Accord, 4 Cylinder with like 35,000 miles on it (we got it from an old dude who bought it for his wife but she didn't wanna drive it cuz she was in an accident in a small car and she doesn't trust 'em). Anyway, I've got some things in order and I'll be getting a job where I'll make sufficient money to hook it up finally. I'm thinking of putting a Prelude H22 w/VTEC in there and changing the transmission to Manual. I plan on putting a Turbo in there eventually too. That's my idea, but what do you suggest? Also, my nigga was tryin' to find a nice engine for his '94 Integra 'cuz he's already changed a good deal of shit under the hood himself, but I think today he said he got a B20 with no VTEC for $500 from his boy. He's gonna put the Turbo in later..

If your looking to do a motor swap on either of those cars, i would wait till you can put a grand away and spring for a jdm version motor. Ive heard some of the Dohc v-tec engines got a forged crank. {a little easy research would determin wittch ones}
You add a set of forged rods to that and you got a preety tough v-tec that could stand up to some p.s.i. Now with FWD cars there is very limited space for a exhuast mount turbo. I have seen alot of heat soak {when the turbo overheats} issues. I would recomend a turbine style supercharger at about 10-12 psi. I would also recomend having a set of sodiom exhuast valves as the forced induction is a lil hot for normal v-tec valves.
P.S
Tell ya boy he paid to much for the sohc B20.. You can get a v-tec for $500.
Thesse cars are every where so the parts are becoming generic.
As far as the tranny swap. The first mistake people make when building fast cars is that a manual tranny is better then an automatic. If your going to drop the money to build up the motor then drop the money to build the tranny up. You can have auto built to shift exactly when you want it to EVERY SINGLE TIME.
My 2 cents....

Excellent 2 pennies..
Wait, so you mean to tell me that I can build my automatic so that it would shift like a manual?? I'm not extremely informed in this field and it's something my cousins have been teaching me as time progressess. So, do you think I should just worry about gettin' it right in the automatic and get a different vehicle in manual, because I plan on buying a Mustang (one of the older ones possibly). Well, to be honest I'm not sure what the other car would be yet. I'm in love with Japanese cars and the only American car I can deal with is Dodge. Anyway, what do you suggest as my second vehicle? I wanna have this Accord and then really build another car seriously..

If your looking to get involved in a large project then dont do a dam thing to the accord. use it a s a daily driver. With only 35,000 on the clock you should get some good mileage out of it.
If your going to do a early'er mustang i would sugest taking the time to find an 80's SVO mustang. Very nasty 4cyl turbo. There is a guy with an SVO 4cyl turbo that he mounted a volvo 16v head on it, and is running 40 psi. The thing is crazy.....
Yes you can build an auto to shift at any rpm's, just gear's and bands to change. Il get more into it lafter this blunt........

Well, the thing is that I was really planning on putting the Prelude H22a engine in this vehicle even though I may not make it a manual. I do intend on keeping it as a driver, though. I'm not one to race like I used to anymore anyway so all I'm lookin' to do to this is just get the engine in there (and any lil' modifications necessary), re-paint the bitch, and get a complete body kit for it. It's basically just gonna be for show - nothing serious. I'll have the money to do it when I get this job bacc home. I only wanted the bigger engine only because it accomodates my driving style..lol. But I'll look into the SVO Mustang. What I was looking for over the summer was an SVT Cobra. This one dude had one (Steeda) SVT Cobra for $16,000 down in Margate but it was gone in no time. Do you have a Japanese vehicle I could possibly look into suppin' up? Cuz if worse comes to worse, I'll look into getting a Prelude (though they're kinda heavy they got that 4-Wheel Steering) or a Supra..

Well if i was going to recomend an imort for tunning my top choice is going to be a trac-4 celica. Toyota has always had a huge reliablilty factor and there are just as many parts available as any or the other "ricer" cars. TRD toyota racing devlopment stands behind there parts like you wouldnt belive. I had 2 situations where they recomend a part of theres to me that failed. A cv joint i snapped due to excessive power and a turbo manifold that i over heated twice and broke. They replaced the cv joint with a higher grade part at no extra charge. The manifold there revamped there design and had a new one to me in 2 weeks.
Great company to deal with and dealer sponsored so no warrenty problems when you use there parts....
