What I'm asking here is which record company, along with their artists, is better? Cash Money or No Limit. Now before closing this thread, just think about it. I guess in this case, by the majority of beliefs on this forum, both of these options are complete failures, who have lost all their integrity and have put out light, fluffy albums to create the biggest possible revenue. It's a choice that nobody wants to make but I think it will be interesting to see which is the superior, or rather, the inferior. I think it will be a close call. It's funny that I would bring this up because I myself went through a Cash Money phase when I was younger.
I'll have to go with Cash Money. I think their shit today is terrible, but some of the music from the early 90s I was really feeling. B.G. had some descent songs and Juvenile put out a couple respectable albums - Solja Rags, 400 Degreez. Mannie Fresh was a pretty good producer but the problem was, as the years went on, he didn't get any better. So, when new producers came along, Mannie was playing shit from 1995 and Jazze Phe started taking over behind the boards.
What do you think? This is like the battle of the losers, or like a consolation soccer game, but there is no tougher decision.
