Question is: is this regular battle verses, or how does the judging differ. I read that this tourney was a bit different and I wanna know how.

good question:

tha first round will be totally normal... just diss tha fuck out ya opponent.

Second round and beyond will prolly have special rules, as first concieved by ill~licyt....

for this round its normal - just focus on Iron Barz now man

good questions both and tha answer is as follows:

If ya opponent doesn't check in by tha end of tuesday in american time (so i think its 6am tha next day for England) then all you gotta do is drop like two lines (they could be "the cat// in the hat") just to show you are here and ready for tha next round.

Once thats done you've won and are onto tha next round. Any no shows are banned from tha next tourney 'cos no shows kill tourneys....

So its simple.

No check in by opponent = post two lines of anything to show intent = win = advance

Yo, Oblivion. I realize that rules are rules. But I promise you, I couldn't to make it to Rapworlds. It wouldn't let me in. All this funny shit came up. I figured I had gotten banned. I just got an e-mail from Enemy today to let me know I wasn't banned. Please let me in. I had no idea.

Weeellllll.... as far as i'm concerned i'm willing to let you off because:

a) tha board was down for a while and majorly weird (i downloaded it a coupla times lol), which is a pretty unusual circumstance
b) i trust that thats tha only reason you no showed....
c) quite importantly, it saves a lot of re-arranging to make it nice and even, stopping me and D going through tha task of making a three-way turn into even numbers.

So as far as i'm concerned i'm willing ta let you off.... but D has to agree first

we could do teams of say....5 people, 5 teams of 5........and instead of spitting against other teams...they could all drop say....8 lines every few days against each other, and instead of voting for the best verse...peeps vote for the worst and they drop out of the team, then they go again until its one left in each team, then the teams merge (lol, this is sounding soooo survivor) and thats the final five and then they go again until its one sole surviv....er i mean mc, who wins the tourney

......sounds a lil complicated tho...might have trouble with peeps not understanding the rules and stuff, but oh well, theres me idea

don't worry about complicated, D and I (mostly D) can be quite bright when we put our minds to it lol we can figure it out and make it simple for people

There is supposedly different (special) rules that apply to this tourney. Most of us signed into this competition when you said that the battles would be judged differently from the LEAGUE. The first round was essentially just like the LEAGUE and now I'm asking how and what 'special' rules would apply.

I'm interested in understanding how some of us, who applied to be in this tourney under the pretence that alternate skills would be assessed, will be judged in the latest rounds of YOUR TOURNEY.

two: most of "you" didn't sign in under that pretence, you did. Tha question of special rules was bought up until earlier on IN THIS THREAD...

THIS is how i said it will be different:
"This'll be different from Ill-ycits already excellent league like so:

1) if you lose in tha first round - you're out. This is a KNOCKOUT tourny
2) They'll prolly be about 5/6 days in between verses due... so its flowing (but i haven't discussed this yet)
3) Only tourny members can vote - thats so any newbies or people that hate on you can't unless they are in tha tourney."

So, YOU bought up tha new rules idea.

You'll find that most tournaments are standard rules anyway...
