Just thought I'd say hi as I've just joined up. I'm pretty new to this hip hop scence, I've been into hip hop for ages but have never expressed my feelings for it.

I live in Cornwall in England (Thats the UK not New England as in the USA).

One thing you guys could clear up for me though and for the whole of the UK who is from the WESTSIDE and who's from the EASTSIDE?

This is what we (UK) think.

West Side -

Eminem
Dr. Dre
50 Cent, G-Unit
Snoop
Tupac (RIP)
Xzibit
etc..

East Side -

Nelly
Ja Rule
Puffy
BIGGIE


Remember this is only what we reckon but I'm sure you guys can put this straight for us.

Yo,im in england too, westside yorkshire haha. You got some nice choice of artists, but i don't agree with eminem, nelly and puffy but rest is ok. Hope you keep active around here, peace

West-side is people fromt the west coast of USA, basically any Californian rappers. Like the Game, Dr. Dre, Tupac, N.W.A. etc...

East-side is exactly the same but for the east coast. For example; P. Diddy, Mobb deep, and all that lot.


I went to Cornwall once on holiday, it was pretty tight.

You could say that you're 'west-side' i guess. I'm from Kent, the 'East-side' of UK.

"Technically" its East Coast, West Coast. Not East Side and West Side
