A banned TV commercial starring 50 CENT glorified gun violence, British advertising watchdogs have ruled.
Sportswear giant REEBOK pulled the ad after complaints the rapper counts from one-to-nine, referring to the number of times he has been shot.
And Britain's ADVERTISING STANDARDS AGENCY (ASA) yesterday (17MAY05) concurred.
It ruled, "We considered the subject matter to be inappropriate in view of the recent high profile of gun-related crime in Britain."
