me too. i got street fighter 2 (championship edition). i like to whoop ass with guile, balrog, and sagat. and i got all three sonics. ever play Streets of Rage? there were three of them, i got all of em. it looks kinda like those double dragon games, except it's a lot better...and i mean a lot. fun as hell. walkin down the street beatin up folks and killin em and stuff like that. streets of rage has just about everything you could think of. soundtrack was years ahead of it's time and fits the game perfectly with stuff like old school dance music and hip hop tunes that sound like beats you'd hear from the 80s and early 90s. buy em on ebay.com or download em somewhere.

sega is the shit and will ALWAYS BE the shit..Only reason why i havent bought one yet is because im broke.

who hasnt, that was my shit i only had the firt one. i had all the street fighter 2s (champion edition, turbo) sonic all of them. golden axe was also my shit dawg. and of course who can forget Mortal Kombat 1 and 2 shit man of coruse i had the old school madden and nba jam. oh and colums i fucked up. me and my brother were playing it and we were goin nonstop until we broke the genesis. it started to fry. anyway the last game (or games i can remember) was Shinobi. that was tightness. and i dont know if any of yall had this but sega came out wit somethin called gamegear. anyone had it :confused:

but when 64 came out it broke apart everything..

eyo you know they put all the sonic games onto a cd now.. You can get it on ps2 for like 20 or less..ya know i got it..

hell yeah. golden axe. i got part 1 and 2. DAMN, how could i forget about that one? oh yeah...there's a golden axe 3!! it only came out on the japanese genesis, called the megadrive. you can download it from da net. in some ways it's better, and in some ways it isn't. the graphics didn't improve that much. same for the sound effects. seemed like it was more like golden axe 2.5 instead of 3 when it came to that. but there are more levels and a couple of extra fighters to play as (a panther mutant dude that's fast, and another mutant looking guy that looks like a caveman built like a boulder and fights with his fists). that dwarf with the big ass axe from part 1 and 2 got a broke ass leg in the war that's going on so you can't play as him, which pissed me off cause he was the damn man. you see him at the start of the game on crutches...that's some sad shit. but the game's tough as hell and has a decent storyline, so it'll keep you busy. i died on the last level fightin these giant fuckers with mountain ram heads and four arms like goro from mortal kombat. they kept bustin out of the walls like that big nigga ABOBO from Double Dragon!

I had streets of rage back in 96, along with the sonic games, mortal kombat games and stuff. At the time i thought they were amazing graphics but graphics don't count for retro games. I used to have an Atari when i was five (it was my brother's) but i probably preferred the sega genesis for more fun games. I think they should make a new genesis.
