Im my eyes immortal technique is one of the best and most intresting lyrically minded MC's in the Hip-hop world. His best Album 4 me is Revolutionary Vol 2.

IT keeps it real,his polital views are real accurate if you think about it,he has his own style and flow.he dont give a shit what you think of him,hes just keeping it real and i respect that.One of the emcees that is probably getting alot of mainstream record deals but declining.He wants to be himself and thats it.

Tech is one of the best rappers out there. Has some great lyrical talent and his songs show that he is not scared to spit what's on his mind. He also can tell great stories through his lyrics which is showed on the deep track, "Dance With The Devil"

Since I haven't listened to any mainstream artists since I stopped Bboyin (3 yrs ago..and no I didnt listen to that garbage for the lyricality of it)...I've had Immortal Technique as the best...he's in the grey area between mainstream and underground...to me that's called "pergatory".

King of the underground but peasant of the mainstream. Perfect place to be.

He's overrated. He's not bad by any means, but he's nothin special. Thinks a little too highly of himself too, come on, who in the fuck wants to hear you talk for 20 minutes on your albums? His flow and breath control are kinda sloppy and most of his lyrics just go for the shock factor without any real value. He's got some decent similes though.

I kinda like him, can't say that i love his raps though, they definitely more shocking than they are impressive and top 10 rappers... I think not... maybe second half of the top 20

first, technique has a superb mic presence, in the same style as vinnie paz. second, he helped bring political and topical rap to the forefront of the undreground. thirdly, his lyrics rhymes are good enough to combine all three elements into an ill emcee.

his flow is traditionally bad, almost like he is giving a speech, but that is perfect because a lot of the time his lyrics almost are a speech on something.

he is overrated though, again a bit like vinnie paz. paz likes to 'get deep' with the whole religion thing in the same way that technique does with politics, but both rappers, while on point a lot of the time, can sometimes seem as if they are just throwing political/religious words around to make their tracks 'relevant'.

but he's still fucking ill, and one of the emcees whose influence and music are helping hiphop develop instead of just mutating

the only thing for me that is keepin Immortal Technique from top 20 is his crappy ass simple flow, he always, ends a sentence or thought at the end of the snare, and its not really exciting to listen 2 if an artists always does that, i mean switch ur flow a lil on tha track, rap is supposed to combine all the elements, lyrics, flow, delivery, style and w/e he has all of these but his flow is no where 2 b found ..
