The whole time I have been here I have noticed that this forum has such an eastcoast flavor to it. All people here ever seem to talk about is G-Unit and Eminem....I just don't get it *shakes head*

On the contrary. Crunk music is complete garbage but the South, Houston Texas is home to one of the best hip hop groups ever (in my eyes). The Geto Boys. Totally legendary. Oh, and to get on the topic of east coast being the topic of conversation, in my opinion, it has the most talent, and the most rappers period. But then it's kind of stupid to have the west and east coast cuz if you heard Nas rapping over some G-Funk, would it be west coast hiphop? Or eastcoast hiphop? :confused:

first off eminem aint east and neither is 50
eminem aint been hip hop since 2001 and that dude is closer to the midwest then he is to the east
and 50 lives in Cali.......yeah he grew up in queens but he pissed on where he came from so it dont count no more, that clown doesnt represent east coast music


east just gets talked about more though because it is the epicenter of hip hop

only reason why south isn't talked about is people like lil john, ying yang twins and others come out and they suck a lot. only good thing that is from south is outkast. everybody else is lacking. people talk about eveerybody here. it isn't just about east. you have many from england on this forume. you just gotta find what you are looking for and mostly people that talk shit about 50 cent are the ones that don't know anything about hip hop, but just found out that a lot of people arent into hip hop so they r looking for a way to fit in and look cool. just look at any thread that has been made here and you will find out that not a single one was made by a person that isn't a kid or a newbie on this site.

Probally because the east has been the most consistent runnin the game since it began, there are times when they are overshadowed, like when the south was real hot, and the west, but the east has always been there. After 97 the west basically fell off the map, and the south didnt really blow up until 99-2000.
