Okay, can a moderator please delete my other thread? Thanks.

I got some pictures of my car to give an idea of where I'm at.

This is a close up of the result when I t-boned a van. The frame is off a bit.

This is a shot of the front, obviously. Need to fix that headlight. The liscense plated suffered a little from when I did was playing stupid on a gravel road, going 65, and slid into a ditch.

From the side, it doesn't look to shabby, but those hubcaps have got to go.

I'm willing to put money into it.... just not all at once. Hopefully, I'll get my new starter this Friday. Brake pads would be nice. But I don't know how to take the starter out or put one in. Does anyone know where I can find a guide? And what other things should I try to do to it? I'm not trying to trick it out all-out or anything. I just want a car to be stupid with, go fast enough to give small thrill out, some donuts on the country roads, etc.

Naw, I have to buy a laptop for college, which is going to put me out 1k. Right now, my motorcycle is my form of transportation, but I need something to drive to and from college. When I leave for college, it'll take me a month or so to get back on my feet with a job, so a loan is out of the question. Keeping in mind that the laptop is going to keep me out 1k, I want to make the sunbird workable to drive home from college on the weekends. Sooooooo, about 200 dollars will make the car workable. As a longterm project, I just want to do some stuff to it, have some fun with it, then re-sell it in the spring to get a crotch rocket or truck to haul to my dirt bike in. Given, I'll lose a couple hundred on putting money into it, but.... yeah.

I agree with what others said, it would be a bad investment to do anything to it.

I can't get to the starter. The motor is blocking it and I don't know how to take the motor out. :S

Lol, Prof, I need to replace the starter, and yeah, I was under. It's like right underneath the CV joint thingy. I bought a book and everything. Grr. And I really don't want to pay the bill of having someone do it for me. Prof get your ass over here.

Just so everyone knows, I think I am going to get a different car for college. :( I have to sell my dirt bike, and then I should have enough to spend around 2k. If anyone has suggestions, feel free to put them out there.

It'll cost more to fix it than to buy a good used car...
