Got bored, made a cutting tutorial for you people.

cool tutorial, i never used the coloured background, i'm guessing thats so you can see more easley if you made a mistake or missed a bit out. Anyway cool tutorial...i do it exact same way, but don't use a gradient background. Anyway i would rep you but i can't :)

^^nice tutorial...i'm kinda a newb when it comes to makin gfx lol, but umm, once you get it like that with the wierd background, how do you get it into the background you want? (or is it already ready to be copied and pasted)???

you just delete the wierd layer i'm guessing, and then resize the image to what you want, and then copy+paste onto your background you made..

yeh, real useful tutorial sad, thanks it showd me how to cut when i first started, i was wondering, whats the advantage of using a graident background behind the picture over just one single colour? eg a red background

^ i don't think there is an advantage, i guess you could use a single colour for the bg, as long as that colour isn't in the picture you're cutting.

you should think abuot pen tool...cuts just as good and alot faster and easier...think of the pen tool but u can stop at certain points and keep going...

cutting pictures out aint that hard ..

Use background eraser tool .. then click somewhere around the image .. then click Magic Eraser .. then click all the spots needed to be cut :)
