View Full Version : Cutting Tutorial Wreckin Eyez 06-15-2005, 11:02 PM Got bored, made a cutting tutorial for you people. http://fs7.deviantart.com/i/2005/166/3/0/Cutting_Tutorial_by_Nigglagent.jpg Azim 06-16-2005, 06:21 PM cool tutorial, i never used the coloured background, i'm guessing thats so you can see more easley if you made a mistake or missed a bit out. Anyway cool tutorial...i do it exact same way, but don't use a gradient background. Anyway i would rep you but i can't :) T.Bone 06-16-2005, 07:03 PM ^^nice tutorial...i'm kinda a newb when it comes to makin gfx lol, but umm, once you get it like that with the wierd background, how do you get it into the background you want? (or is it already ready to be copied and pasted)??? Azim 06-16-2005, 07:26 PM you just delete the wierd layer i'm guessing, and then resize the image to what you want, and then copy+paste onto your background you made.. Wreckin Eyez 06-16-2005, 10:01 PM Exactly @ both of Azim's comments. Clusion 06-18-2005, 07:01 AM nice tut sad. well done Cra-Z 07-27-2005, 02:38 PM That's pretty cool. I thought everybody used Extract... That's the biggest JPG I've every seen man... Head up. Arminius 07-27-2005, 08:04 PM Yea thats a nice tutorial Sadistyk... 50's head looks fuckin huge there...Was this before or after the success? lol Imperium 07-27-2005, 08:15 PM yeh, real useful tutorial sad, thanks it showd me how to cut when i first started, i was wondering, whats the advantage of using a graident background behind the picture over just one single colour? eg a red background Azim 07-28-2005, 11:30 AM ^ i don't think there is an advantage, i guess you could use a single colour for the bg, as long as that colour isn't in the picture you're cutting. Young Kas 08-23-2005, 02:06 PM you should think abuot pen tool...cuts just as good and alot faster and easier...think of the pen tool but u can stop at certain points and keep going... PinkSpark 08-27-2005, 08:06 PM I hated that I missed the Tutorial...for some reason it's gone. Wreckin Eyez 09-02-2005, 08:03 PM Yeah, dA fucking deleted it. Said it was a copyright violation because I used pro images. Here's the image... http://img395.imageshack.us/img395/9830/cuttingtutorial3xv.jpg Whatever you can get from that. Imageshack resized it. Clusion 09-02-2005, 08:22 PM you put it on good tuts? Esinem 10-15-2005, 12:22 PM cutting pictures out aint that hard .. Use background eraser tool .. then click somewhere around the image .. then click Magic Eraser .. then click all the spots needed to be cut :) Not Jewish 05-11-2006, 01:55 PM lol i was reading through the post and thinking where the tut then i saw it 2 posts above this one lol, yh nice Restrictive 05-11-2006, 04:57 PM wow...
