Eminem made a rare public appearance on Saturday (March 1) to check out Detroit outfit Buddha Fulla Rymez, a group rumoured to be the next signing to the rapper’s Shady Records label.

According to reports, Eminem went to a gig by the band at the Royal Oak Music Theatre in his native Detroit, accompanied by his ex-wife Kim and a bodyguard. According to Launch, Eminem watched the performance from the venue's VIP area before visiting the group backstage after the show.

Buddha Fulla Rymez (formed from vocalists T.O.P. and Shadow, DJ Stezo, guitarist Coool Hand Luke, bassist Santos, and drummer Flithy D) have been part of the Detroit hip hop scenef ro three years and have played dates supporting Kid Rock. Now it’s rumoured that Eminem wants to sign the group to his Shady Records label, already home of 50 Cent, Obie Trice and D12. Source: xfm
